Very poor experience with this retailer. Yes it tracked OK. But the guidance on payout timescales given by topcashback is ridiculous. I have raised tickets but all to no avail. 7 months since we took the policy. I have a feeling this is a Churchill Insurance type scanario!!!!! Come on CO-OP, we took your product in good faith, so payout as advertised. Shoddy!!

Tracked early July, confirmed and said was payable end of September (3 months). Surprise surprise payment did not complete and now Top Cash Back are saying to wait yet another month.
I would go to another insurance provider who has higher statistics at paying out if I was you. ... who know when this will pay out.. :-(

Did everything correctly and have nudge several times - is finally showing as pending June 09 - but bearing in mind the policy was purchased in April 09. It is still awaiting payment from CIS. Would not recommend and will not use in future. There are better deals and cashbacks available - check out Aviva. Cheaper insurance and same £70 cashback and tracked immediately.

Seems to be very common with Co op. Quick to track but once the confirmation date passes it still sits at PENDING.
Looks like you will have to do a manual claim 30 days after the payment should have been made. Very wrong that you should have to chase it up, but that's life!

Three months on I am STILL waiting for any cashback to show. It does not even show as £0 which is what I expected as they have an extended tracking period.

Tracked quickly, but as they warn you, it won't pay for 3 months or so.
In fact, I have two x £40 showing, as I had to cancel and re-book the insurance online (for some reason, the Co-operative Insurance people cannot amend details over the phone).
No doubt one will be cancelled. But what I am worried about however, is that they phoned me again after the second policy was booked online - I hope this manual intervention does not over-ride the genuine cashback.

Watch out if buying car insurance!
Online quotation said policy included use of car for commuting to work.
However, when I received the insurance certificate is said commuting to work was excluded.
I called Co-op about this and they wanted me to pay and extra £30 to include commuting cover, even though I had a copy of the quote that clearly stated commuting was included.
I cancelled the policy as was my right under the distance selling rules. Now waiting for a full refund...

Cashback took over 48hrs to show. Cheap contents insurance, with better cover & 40 pounds cashback. As long as it pays up I'll be quids in!!! Many thanks Co-op & tcb

I wrote a comment back in June stating I was still waiting for my cashback of £40 and guess what its been 6 months and still waiting...........After reading all the comments it appears that most of the comments are negative regarding this retailer. Topcashback should take note

Bought home insurance in JUNE but i am still waiting for my cashback.It is still pending despite giving all the account details and topcashback have now put the claim on ice(2nd September)until coop will take the next set of claims.Do not hold out much hope but cheap home insurance.
