Took a while but cashback successfully received - eventually.
It is worthwhile persevering with TopCashback customer services claims team - especially if you have a genuine and valid purchase made with BA through TopCashback. I had two BA Holiday claims. The holidays were booked and paid for over a year ago and taken earlier this year. Nothing showed on the TopCashback site so I registered two claims. These were put "ON ICE" - presumably after the holidays were taken. Nothing happen after taking the holidays so I sent several nudges. Things eventually started to progress and my claims progressed to "with merchant" and the "decision". Horror of horrors - the next thing I knew was that both claims had been DECLINED. I challenged this with TopCashback customer services and provided addition proofs of purchase - should these have been need. About 3 days later I was informed that BOTH of my claims had been honoured and my 2 cashbacks credited to me. Thank you customer services.

Terrible SCAM
Only merchant i’ve used which declined cashback. I warn you do not use BA. I personally won’t be using them in the future

Retailer declines cashback
Cashback usually gets declined by retailer. Cashback remains pending for months and then goes straight into declined - once it’s too late to challenge the cashback. Poor cashback service by BA considering the ridiculously high prices.

Poor company, poor website, poor cashback
"Your order was not found in the purchases TopCashback referred." That's all they said, even though obviously Top cashback tracked it, I purchased the flights, and used them too. But that's BA for you.

Withdrawing valid cashback for no reason
My cashback hadn't tracked when making my booking in December 2024, after raising a missing claim it was then validated and sat in my account as 'pending' from June up until yesterday, 3rd November, and now they have just withdrawn the cashback altogether. The cashback was only £12.00 but it is the principal of offering the cashback in the first place and then withdrawing it after you have taken your holiday, very disingenuous practices by BA that will now make me think twice about ever using them again, their service has gone way down in recent years anyway.

Zero stars. British Airways are do not pay or honour
Purchased in January 2025. The only method used to reach their website was via the cashback websites links. £7 cashback owed to us. In June 2025 British Airways still had to allowed the cashback. Promised by cashback site, merchant will respond, give the a month or two. Now in November 2025, British Airways blocked the cashback from becoming available.

Merchant do not pay cashback
I lodged a claim in Feb 2025. Retailer allocated a cashback in April 2025. It was then kept in the 'pending' status. Today (November 2025), the retailer suddenly declined a payment without any information. Dishonest and a waste of time.

Waste of time!
Very disappointed with British Airways. Tracked ok but 7 months later was declined with no reason. Wish I’d read the reviews first, I would have gone elsewhere.

Bit of a scam, I think
To be honest - booking a BA flight through TopCashBack was the only reason I booked with them. But BA changed the flights on us and then declined the £19 we were legitimately due. So, as the flight was pretty unimpressive, I see no reason to book with them again. It's really poor.

Very poor
Terrible experience and untrusted, evidence was provided showing I was due the cashback advertised which tracked but was mysteriously declined without explanation after waiting months and months.

Don't bother
Purchased Business Class return tickets to India in Sep 2024. Didn't track. Submitted claim. Claim on ice for about six months and then finally it tracked in May 2025, with correct amount of cashback but with the purchase amount of £0 which was eventually declined in Nov 2025. I am fighting it...

Avoid
Do not bother using topcashback for British Airways transactions. The transactions either do not track at all, and after raising support tickets they stay in limbo for months before being declined, or if they do track successfully, they stay in pending for months, and then will one day randomly be declined with no explanation and no recourse to challenge/appeal. Complete waste of time and a con.

Don't hold your breath. Travelled in May 2025. Cashback tracked and showed as pending for months. Finally cleared..... Then suddenly declined. Very irritating!

Do Not Raise Your Hopes of British Airways Paying Anything
I have just had yet another purchase declined, booked over a year ago, travelled April 2025, whilst it tracked and shown pending for over a year. Now declined, no reason! Out 5 BA trips over the past four years I have only been successful once. I suspect these BA offers are not intended to be paid. Contrast with Air France and Cathay Pacific who paid up within 4 weeks of booking and paying for the flight.

Slow payment
Flight has tracked, but way over the date it should be paid. This includes that I have taken the flight 5 months ago, and paid for the flight 10 months ago.

Far too slow
Booked in early 2024 for a Nov 2024 holiday. Cashback has tracked but it's almost a year on from the holiday and BA haven't made the payment yet. Would not recommend.

Never Works
Booked flights in January for over £1600 in total, raised a claim as its showed at 0. 9 month later no further forward. Looking at the reviews its a regular occurrence.
