Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, PANDORA has gone from being a local Danish jeweller to one of the world's leading international jewellery brands — which now sells products in more than 100 countries — in the space of just a few years.

The original jeweller's shop was set up by Danish goldsmith Per Enevoldsen and his wife, Winnie, who often travelled to Thailand in search of items of jewellery they could import. As demand for their products grew, they focused more on wholesale to clients in Denmark.

After their first in-house designer joined the company, they began to focus on creating their own unique PANDORA jewellery and, in 1989, started manufacturing jewellery in Thailand. Their charm bracelet concept was launched in the Danish market in 2000 and, following great success, they began to expand it internationally.

To increase production of charms and bracelets, they opened a six-story manufacturing facility in Thailand five years later. A second was opened in the same area in 2008, which was followed by a third and a fourth two years later.
