I used Top Cash Back to reserve and collect an item from B & Q last week. My confirmation from B & Q advised that if the item was not in stock a member of staff would phone me. When I went to collect the item the next day I was told that it was not in stock. However no one had phoned me to tell me that and as a result I wasted half a day making a round journey of over 30 miles. This was the second time I had tried to use Reserve and collect and I had the same experience the first time. I have complained to B & Q HQ about this poor service and promised that a local rep would phone me. 5 days later, no one has phoned me. So do not trust the B & Q Reserve and Collect service - it has not worked for me. However my £2.02 Top Cash back still shows on my account! Perhaps B & Q has a guilty conscience!

I ordered goods on the reserve and collect system then that evening received a phone call saying they actually had none in stock despite their website saying the goods were available.
I emailed you to make you aware that I was not misusuing the system but B&Q had let me down

No problem with cashback at all. I used the reserve online and collect in store. My items were not ready to collect in store even well after the given timescales and I had to pick them myself. Other than this, it was good to get the cashback.

Tracked fine, although when I travelled to the store, the item that I had reserved was not there, not happy to say the least.
Definately call the store to ensure your item is there before travelling.
