Booked 2 rentals in US and Canada. Both declined. Could understand US rental because paid locally in USD but Canada rental was pre-paid in GBP. Bit of a rip-off IMHO.

Zero stars. Offered cashback booked hire car and then Avis declined it. Lost £26 would have gone elsewhere. Won't use Avis ever again. Other reviews indicate same kind of problems.

Tracks but never pays - even after submitting claim (which takes years to pursue) - happened many times so don't bother !

Very mixed experience with Avis. Despite the fact that I have made numerous bookings with Avis during the last few years, there is no consistency when it comes to receiving Cashback. I've had a couple of bookings pay out, several that haven't and when they've been followed up, the merchant has declined them without explanation.

I have booked Avis rental cars twice through TopCashback and both times I had to submit a claim for missing cashback, it has never automatically tracked.

Absolutely terrible. Declined the cashback without explanation despite no change to the booking. Contacted, and they don't care. Placed a missing cashback claim and they won't reply. Terrible.
