I clicked through from my TopCashback account and booked my Avis hire for collection from St John’s airport in Newfoundland. Avis have declined to pay the cash back worth over £90, looking to cancel the booking with them.

Declined with no reason. Avoid.
This was a straight forward booking - a city pick up returning to an airport. No discount codes used. Avis declined the cashback and Topcashback have said there is nothing else to do. Should have booked via a travel website - more reliable. Don't' book direct!

Never paid
I've had multiple transactions with Avis over the years. They have all tracked successfully when I made the initial reservation. However, I've never yet had one progress to "Confirmed", so have yet to be paid.

Don't expect cashback
Avis is one of TCB's worst offenders at not paying, only use them if after cashback they are cheaper than the competition.

Car rental completed but Avis decline cash back , still pending
Transaction was booked in Feb and completed, paid in full in aril . Got decline message from Avis without valid reasons . Filed claim in May . Still waiting for a reply . I booked Avis not others only becuz they offer the highest cash back at that moment.
