Disappointing Cashback Experience: Beware of Unfulfilled Promises
I recently had an experience with Auto Trader that I feel compelled to share, regarding their cashback offer. Almost two months ago, I purchased their ultimate package to list my vehicle for sale. The transaction was completed through TopCashBack, and according to the terms, I was supposed to receive £8.50 in cashback. Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but smooth.
Initially, the cashback did not track as expected, prompting me to manually submit a claim. I made sure to follow all the terms and conditions meticulously, ensuring that I adhered to every requirement to qualify for the cashback. Despite my diligence, my claim was rejected after a wait of two months.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating. As a customer, I expect a company as reputable as Auto Trader to honor their cashback offers, especially when all conditions have been met. The lack of communication and transparency throughout this process has been disappointing.
In conclusion, while Auto Trader may offer excellent services in vehicle listing, their handling of cashback promotions leaves much to be desired. Potential customers should be wary of relying on advertised cashback deals, as my experience suggests these may not always be honored.

Waste of time!
Topcashback pay 0.30 to enter Autotraders Electric Vehicle Giveaway. Problem is the transaction never tracks and when you claim Topcahback want “the order number”. It’s a competition , there isn’t any order numbers! What’s the point of offering this if TCP don’t want to pay you ?

AVOID THEY WONT PAY!
Purchased a sold until seen package through TC, originally didn't track and I submitted a missing claim. Was told the reference number could not be traced, this was my error as I supplied the receipt/invoice number and not the order number. Quick call to Autotrader and they confirmed the order number for me, the claim was resubmitted, they have now also rejected this one. Been using Topcashback for years and the first time this has happened. Whilst may not be a Topcashback issue but the retailer is misleading people, trust me they won't pay anything, avoid!

Didn’t pay cashback
Really disappointed in this company, they state they payout £10.50 for new advert, but declined my claim stating “The sale was Non commissionable” won’t be using them again.

Not paid and over a year, anyway will never use them as eBay is much cheaper and attracts more interest when selling. Also they charge £££ to place a advert then promote ads that have paid the extra to come top of list.
