Good prices but magically despite clearing my cookies beforehand another merchant was credited with the sale, but due to Data Protection there's no way to find out!

I have been and still am renting cars a few times a year with auto europe and never had any cashback issues, but for the whole of 2014 every single transaction was untracked and when raised and queried with them declined. so be careful, do not use their services because of the cashback only as you'll most likely not get it. disappointing

Do not use Auto-Europe. They got us a deal with Goldcar in Mallorca who charged us nearly Eur100 for a compulsory tank of petrol for a Ford Fiesta and made a charge for insurance even though we insisted we had our own. Goldcar would not accept a report of damage on picking up the car and would not sign it in on return so you have no protection if they come after you later for damage or loss. I've written 15 emails to auto-Europe about this rental and they have been useless - lots of empty American words about customer service but zero meaningful action. Months later I'm still waiting for a corrected invoice from Goldcar but Auto-Europe have stopped responding. Very poor indeed.

Tracked but then went to £0.01 when payable. I tried to log a missing cash back claim but as it was over 100 days old the system wouldn't let me.... very frustrating I might give a different cashback company a try as this seems to be happening more and more with topcashback.

The quality of service is excellent but dont expect cashback. I've booked twice with them and on both occasions they refused to pay the cashback and didnt give any reason for this.

Lined me up with a car hire company operating from a shelf in the arrivals hall. They didn't have the small car I ordered so had to accept a larger one and pay for a full tank of fuel that I didn't use completely or get a refund for. Not impressed.

Arranged car hire with a local provider who couldn't offer me the car I wanted (gave me a much larger one). The car hire company operated out of a corner of the airport arrivals hall (no desk, nothing) and charged me for a full tank of fuel (at 10 cents (Euro) more than pump rate). They wouldn't refund the remaining fuel, thus adding £20 to my car hire costs, which, frankly, just seems like a scam to increase their profit. Won't be using them again.

Auto Europe as a provider are OK, usually decent value. Cashback via them seems to be very hit and miss, i'm 4+ months down the line now and it doesnt seem to have tracked, TCB forwarded a claim about 3 months ago and I haven't seen a response. Dont count on it.

Booked with them back in 2008 quite legitimately through topcashback. Had a very poor experience with customer service on returning the car (we're pretty experienced renters overseas) and never saw any cashback on return to UK. TCB's usually good chasing wasn't up to much either and after more than 2 years they suggested I just give up - sensible enough but we won't be recommending Auto Europe to anyone. If there were a no stars option, then they would 'merit' it. Very disappointing across the board.

I booked twice with AE since the price dropped before my holiday and cancellation is free. Neither tracked. Second purchase never paid out despite nudges etc.. Very poor cashback service. No reason given for the refusal to pay out. Unless AE is the cheapest go elsewhere as they are only brokers. Don't fact the cashback into the price as the chances of getting it are slim to none. If they are the cheapest then fine. As a broker their service is reasonable.

Does not track if your rental isn't instantly confirmed, even if you complete your purchase wholly online. This happens if a reservationist needs to process it manually for some reason, for instance if you are doing a one-way rental or if the availability of your car isn't confirmed immediately.

I am very disappointed with AuroEurope, I used them in the past several times with no problems. Yet last time they tracked the transaction, they sent the cashback, yet they recorded a transaction value much lower than what I actually paid. After several enquires by the Topcashback team, they refused to give a reason for that, and I think this is very disappointing. Also, they didn't send me the voucher at the time of the purchase so the Europcar guy at the desk created me some problems and he had to phone them directly on the day. Strange, and disappointing behaviour.

Cashback declined for no valid reason
Auto Europe declined £31 worth of cashback on a completed rental I made last year on the basis of "Invalid Order Number". Topcashback said the following in their response: "[Invalid order number] typically means that either the order number is incorrect, a coupon or promotional code was used, items were returned or exchanged or that TopCashback was not the last referred click." This given reason is completely preposterous. I provided Auto Europe the correct order number, did not use any voucher and TopCashBack was the last referred click (this was correctly logged). So they just want to come up with an excuse not to pay what is owed to me. My advice: assume that Auto Europe won't pay up any cashback when placing an order with them.

Still pending 6 months on
Car hire transaction in March 2023, been pending ever since. Have chased with TCB and asked to just wait it out. Ominously, there is no last paid date in tracking stats, which makes me wonder if they've just given up on TCB.
