Bought an xbox one from Argos where Topcashback was offering £40.40 cashback. Happy with this but it didn't track. Shame! Submitted a claim - quick response from Topcashback after they contacted Argos to query it and now within 14 days of me submitting the claim to Topcashback, the cashback has been confirmed and I have selected a M&S e-gift card as payment. VERY HAPPY! Thanks to both Topcashback and Argos - I will be buying some lovely food from M&S.

Never had a problem with argos until now! They was offering higher cash back on click and collect purchases which is the only reason I did it this way as usually I would have home delivery and failed to track have since raised a claim only to be told it has declined with no explanation! Very disappointed this time :(

I have bought a few things from Argos and always got the cashback within a reasonable period. Never had to raise a ticket. Had an issue with one of the items but sorted this with Argos without affecting the cashback process.

always check in with Argos before I purchase anything as there prices are always competitive and I get topcash back as well win win.

Be cautious with expectations, I ordered through topcashback but the did not pay and the claim got declined. Looking at the recent reviews it seems that those who ordered like me as "click and collect" got their claims declined, saying that the order was done through other channels ! obviously and mostly likely there is a glitch with the tracking with "click and collect" option. Would not use Argos again as a matter of principles.

Click and collect service is easy however I am really dissapointed with this merchant as they refuse to pay cashback on a regular basis stating that the last clicks before purchases were not made via the cashback website! Complete and utter nonsense! And extremely unprofessional.

I am an experienced TopCashBack user, and was surprised when an Argos transaction did not track. It clearly showed on the drop-down, coincided exactly with the time the order was placed and confirmation received, yet manual claim was declined as not the final referrer. Nonsense. I did not go via any other referrer. I realise TopCashBack are at the mercy of Argos when placing a manual claim, but it still leaves me negative toward Argos.

Bought a PS4 on click and collect from argos, after searching online for best deal. Did not track properly and after great effort by Topcashback to get £11 cashback, Argos declined even though had receipt references and click and collect reference. Poor by Argos, will think twice next time i want to use them

be cautious with expectations. I've placed two delivery orders and neither appeared & when a missing cashback wss raised that too disappeared after it showed as 'on ice' for a few weeks. Ive found the recent 'offers' also have T&C's which has meant they were useless to us. Not impressed!

High star rating so this post becomes visible. No end of problems with this merchant, cumulating in randomly declining cashback for no good reason. Seems an arbitary decision when the claim is perfectly valid, so I would avoid.

12 months waiting for cashback is ridiculous they put my cashback claim back to £0 so had to claim now I am waiting all over again till it becomes payable I wont be renewing my pet insurance with them this year!!

Please be aware that there is no cashback on Click and Collect orders, so not very useful.

£40 cashback rejected for buying the approved xbox console through one of the product codes mentioned in the cashback section. Argos rejected with “Declined - Transaction not completed - Order Cancelled or returned”." ...even though I can prove that I've paid for the item and haven't returned it! It's more expensive to buy though Argos, so without the £40 cashback it's totally pointless. I wouldn't bother!

Currently would NOT recommend. Was looking to purchase a specific item, and was assured by customer services (twice and in writing) that it would be in stock on a certain date. So I redeemed my acrued cashback into an ARGOS voucher (which is non refundable and can only be used in store). Despite several emails and calls, this item has never come back into stock at my local store (or any in Scotland) and they seem to keep one in stock in one store at the far end of the country for the sole purpose of continuing to advertise a knockdown price. They are unable to transfer stock from one shop to another (why?), but are happy to offer free home delivery for this item. Would love to do so, but then couldn't use the cashback voucher!! Stuck with my cashback voucher, so am going to spend it on some tat I don't really need. Let's see if the cashback tracks !

Bought item, tracked as zero, then... disappeared. Can't even find in declined cashback. Looks like Argos are serial non-payers. This will be borne in mind when making future purchasing choices, both via Top Cashback and elsewhere.
