  • What will stop me getting cashback?

    • We will not pay cashback for any policy that have been cancelled or are in arrears at the time of validation. Validation period is approximately 90 days from your policy start date.
    • Cashback is only available to new customers purchasing Basic and Standard boiler cover from the AA. If you have cancelled an existing central heating policy or received a renewal invitation from the AA in the last 90 days, your cashback will be declined.
    • Members should not contact the AA directly for any queries relating to cashback.
    • You will only be awarded cashback if you buy through the link on this page and make your purchase without interruptions in your online transaction.
    • Customers purchasing Home Emergency Response or Home Response Plus cover from the AA will NOT be eligible for cashback unless bought in conjunction with either Basic and Standard boiler cover.   • What else is essential?
    • Cover for your central heating is only available for a domestic boiler contained within your home, fired by gas with an output not exceeding 70KW. Boiler restrictions apply – please see terms and conditions online.
    • The energy switching service may be withdrawn at any time, with 30 days’ notice. We’ll advise this on our website at www.theaa.com/boiler-cover and this offer will come down from TopCashback immediately. In this instance, no alternatives will be offered.
    • Cover excludes an emergency that happens within 14 days following the policy start date.
    • Limitations, exclusions, terms and conditions apply to all AA Home Membership levels of cover.

    • To register you'll need to complete your account set up with the requested details within 30 days of buying your boiler cover. You'll receive a 'set up complete' email confirming the start of your 12-month energy switching service.
    • The ‘savings calculation’ includes all taxes and is calculated on annual savings to your energy bill in the 12 months following your first switch. This guarantee is based on the assumption that (1) your energy usage won’t change and (2) that you don’t make any changes to your energy supply arrangements yourself. For example, if your current tariff ends during the 12 month period, we’ll assume that your current provider would have moved you to their ‘evergreen’ tariff and you wouldn’t have switched to this.
    • The guaranteed savings are conditional upon meeting the criteria in the ‘savings calculation’ above. If the total savings notified to you at your first switch are less than £150 (including all taxes, and any administration/exit fees from your current and new providers) you can reclaim the difference by emailing us (including your name and address) on boilercoverguarantee@theaa.com. You’ll need to contact us within 30 days of receiving information about your savings, and we’ll refund you within 60 days of receiving your claim.
    • You won’t be eligible for the guarantee if you make any changes to your energy supply arrangements after signing up to our energy switching service.
    • The guarantee doesn’t apply to single fuel customers.
    • Certain types of meters aren't covered, such as pre-payment and credit meters. Find out more.
  • Good to know

    • Cashback rates are subject to change both up and down.
    • Recurrences on the amount of purchases that can be made while earning cashback may be limited.

  • What to do when

    • Any queries related to missing cashback must be submitted to TopCashback with a valid 9 digit AA Home Membership number in order to validate. Queries submitted without this information will be not be processed. Missing Cashback Claims may take up to 6 months to be processed.
