On the subject of cashback, one delighted customer said: “Took out a new fuel supply with them in October, which was switched over by November. First Direct Debit came out in December and cashback immediately went from pending to payable.”

Other comments you’ll find include “nice little treat and pretty fast payment” and “very quick — paid as soon as my first month’s payment came out”. Another member stated: “Took out my boiler plan in October and received payout in February. The plan is great and they were out to service my boiler very quickly.” Others who have commented on the company said such things as “very easy to deal with” and “very helpful and efficient service — can’t fault them really”. While their overall rating on Trustpilot isn’t good, you will find some very positive SSE Energy review feedback.

One customer described them by saying: “Best energy company ever — so helpful, polite and value for money. I have energy and broadband with SSE for under £50 a month, which is fabulous.” Other remarks include “always friendly and helpful — any problems get sorted quickly and efficiently”, “I have been a customer of SSE for three years now and have nothing but praise for them” and “never had a single problem with SSE”. Martin even I would not bother for £1.50 this much, but its a lot more than that. Keep going I think you are nearly there ;) to many people give up on here and you never hear what happens either way sometimes.

Still the same problem, very slow to pay out esp if you have duel fuel, one of the fuels never tracks. Its about time TCB put a warning up re this company. I did get my £60 duel fuel but it took best part of a year plus lots of messages to TCB

Well finally got paid the £60 :) please see all my remarks on this feedback FOR SSE on here. I put this on the TCB forum and it got payable in 1 day, suggest others do the same.

Top cashback need to withdraw SSE/Alantic because they do not pay these offers out. I see they have a put a note regarding Npower before you sign up.

It now appears there are some different terms that don't appear on the webpage, ie SSE and/or TCB have decided you must stay with them (undefind time) before they will pay out.

Still no joy from TCB they must be aware of these problems. I can't believe there is a 98.1% of people that are happy with SSE/Alantic and no way is this 20 weeks on average payout.

they don't pay cash back so don't bother, track sale will become 0.00 without any reason if you still with them.

My electric tracked in June this year should have paid end of October but because they added the gas (after I claimed only 1 fuel tracked, the electric) it now has delayed it even further.

I got dual fuel from Atlantic Energy which is part of this same group. It tracked under the name Scottish & Southern, but was only for half the amount advertised (£30 instead of £60)- now after months of waiting, the amount has gone to zero. Waste of time.

Was just in the process of signing up... but thanks to all of you that have gone to the trouble of writing your experiences, I have scrapped it. Same operation as Scottish Power - they too play games with their customers..

Ditto to the 3 previous reviews. Early tracking of uptake within hours but only at the single fuel rate of £30 when the duel fuel rate of £60 should have been applied. Have placed enquiry ticket.......

Tracked within 2 hours but at single fuel rate rather than dual fuel rate. Hopefully TCB will uplift it with an enquiry-i will let you know as this seems to be the first review of this company
