No cashback was paid and no reason given for this by either RAC or Topcashback. Not impressed as it should have been £80!!

Please dont bother!!! I have finally got RAC to recognise my purchase from last november and it will be paid out end of september(almost a year) There is no guarantee I am told that it will not be withdrawn again. Wate of time, effort and would not go with RAC again!!

Tracked within hours but at £42.50. I am expecting £65.00. Hope this happens as the cashback is offered from the site and not RAC. The site should know if the offer has changed as they are paying it.....I shall wait and see.

As at 19/05/2010 there is nothing to show what will happen.
At £22.50 difference it means I probably would not have bought!

I purchased a policy for £275 in the middle of April and to date it still has not tracked!!! I have posted a query and sent several nudges but nothing yet!! If I don't get the £70 cash back promised then this will make the insurance one of the most expensive quotes and totally defeats the object of using top cash back!!! I am not impressed at the moment!!!!!

BEWARE...or as I thouht oh it won't happen to me......RAC are the worst insurers I have ever dealt with, I left them halfway through the policy and fighting against paying any penalties. Took out the policy through TCB, amount changed to confirmed they poof dissappeared, have enquiry open, 3 months later still no sign! But the big thing is the RAC themselves...Called them to change our car and after 45mins of holding I eventually got through to someone who after going through 10 mins of questions and telling they would charge me £20 for changes to my policy, told me the system had crashed and they couldn't insure my new car! I was told that they would call me back once they had got it sorted, I questioned this as people do still have fax machines and was told that actually they couldnt insure my car for probably 72 hours untill they had heard from the underwriters that they had received the insurance details (I was stuck with my new car 40 miles away from home!) I left the poor guy promising to call me the minuite things were sorted and informed him I woulod have to take out insurance with another complany, then took me 10 mins incl waiting time to go back to my old company, who never keep you on hold for longer than a couple of mins! I am still, 6 weeks later waiting for the RAC to call me, have cancelled all my direct debits so they are not getting paid but they don;t even have the common courtesy to ring me, I have called them several times and got so fed up of waiting in the que have only spoken to them once and that was to make sure the policy had been cancelled, which suprise suprise hadn't! I beleive you pay for what you get and if you pay peanuts...you get the RAC.

No cashback received after a few months - now manually claiming. I have found in the past that the RAC do pay up but it takes a while.

Took out Comprehensive insurance with RAC at a competitive rate.Received £70 cashback in just under 3 months from payment via TOPCASHBACK.No hassle.Highly recommended.
