When it comes to fragrance, you will find eau de toilette and eau de parfum, including L1212 for men and women and Magnetic L1212.
You can express your own individual style by customising your Lacoste polo shirt with your choice of croc, colour and initials. All customised polos are made in France and will be delivered within 15 days in a Lacoste gift box. Men's options available are a classic fit, slim fit or long sleeved polo, while if you are a woman, you can personalise a slim fit polo.
Kids' polos are also available for customisation. Once you have picked the style of polo, you can then choose your main colour, from black and white to yellow and pink. You can then opt for a different collar and sleeve rib colour if you wish, as well as the crocodile and neck tape colour. Finally, you can add a monogram of up to four letters to appear either on the sleeve or at the bottom of the polo.
The brand was founded by legendary French tennis player Renรฉ Lacoste in 1933.
An American journalist gave Lacoste the nickname of The Alligator after a Davis Cup match in Boston when hearing of a bet between the player and his coach over a crocodile suitcase. The crocodile logo which now adorns Lacoste clothing was created by artist Robert George in 1927.
Lacoste officially launched what is now one of the world's most recognisable fashion brands in 1933 and the polo shirt was born. In 1951, Renรฉ Lacoste unveiled monochromatic and striped polos, while a children's collection was launched seven years later.
The 1960s saw Lacoste equip the French ski team, while the company created international advertising campaigns in the 1970s. Having already launched perfume and leather goods in the 1960s, Lacoste branched out into sunglasses and tennis shoes during the 1980s, while 2011 saw them introduce a new, more contemporary, Lacoste Live brand.

Tennis player Renรฉ Lacoste invented the now iconic polo shirt in 1933 when he cut the sleeves off a long sleeve shirt as he thought it was more appropriate for playing the sport.
While the style of Lacoste polo shirts has changed since 1933, the manufacturing methods have not and they are still made in the French knitwear capital of Troyes. The exceptional quality cotton yarn is knitted on a circular machine using a unique technique, giving the petite piquรฉ its durability and flexibility. The distinctive crocodile logo is then sewn or embroidered on by hand using 1,200 stitches, while each shirt is also sewn together by hand.
