“Great plants at fab prices, good delivery service, fast payers” is how one of our members who decided to leave feedback described their experience of shopping at Gardening Express. There are plenty of other members who have also been pleased with the products and service provided by the online garden centre, with other Gardening Express reviews comments including “great plants at a good price”, “good service and reasonable prices” and “top seller”.

While there are some reviews which complain about the length of time it took to receive cashback or the quality of plants delivered, other members have clearly been delighted with their cashback experience when shopping with Gardening Express. “Fast paying cashback”, “great rates, fast tracking” and “cashback took two weeks to track but (was) confirmed within four weeks” are just some of the positive Gardening Express review comments you will find.

Good at paying out, but don't expect your order to arrive within the 3-5 working days as quoted on the website. I placed my order on 5 April, it's now 12 April and they have only just handed it to the courier...

Disappointing
I've placed two orders with Gardening Express. Their prices are competitive and delivery is quick, but the quality of the plants delivered is mixed. Cashback didn't track on the first order and they wouldn't pay up when I made a cashback claim. Despite that, I made a 2nd order - cashback tracked that time - but the quality of the plants in the 2nd order was especially mixed. Some good specimens and some not so good. Not sure if they were damaged in transit or were from a poor batch, but half of the 22 lavender plants that I ordered died within 2 weeks, despite planting immediately and watering regularly. GE customer support were initially very responsive, but they haven't replied to my 2 subsequent communications. I certainly won't use GE again and this experience has put me off using any mail order plant retailers. Far better to spend an extra 50p per plant at your local garden centre where you can pick out healthy plants. For sure, that's where I'll be going to get replacement plants for those that have died.

Quick cashback BUT...disgraceful customer service! You can contact them via online chat, but be mindful, they don't help or support at all... all they do is giving you excuses, being rude, and being clueless and defensive! They delete any bad reviews on their website, but you can check Trustpilot.

Be careful before you buy from here. There is no customer support number, no email support and only thing is through their chat service on their site. You need to wait hours before someone replies your queries. 15 days passed and still no sign of any delivery of my plant I ordered online. They keep on promising it will be sent, that's all. All lie, feel like being cheated. Don't waste your money. They claim to be very busy, God knows if that's true. Stay away.

Awful company, I wouldn't bother wasting your money, any cashback you get wont fix the fact that the plant you bought arrived dead and they wont be prepared to replace or refund you.

Check trustpilot!! Half dead. Plants. Months Late delivery. Ignored any reach out to resolve other than when - ve review left. Topcashbach, I'd also recommend you chect their trustpilot and review if you want to be affiliated with them.. Cashback experience, great, topcashback, you do a fine job.

Placed 3 order for delivery before Christmas. 2 were and on contacting them via chat I was assured that the other order (was actually the first placed order so they don’t deal with orders in the order they are received) would be delivered before Christmas. It was sent out for next day delivery with DX on 23rd. So far it has spent 10 days, presumably on a van, touring the South East of England. Now cannot contact them to try to resolve. The plants I did receive were generally nice if not well packaged but with the expensive delivery added on certainly not a bargain. I wish I had seen the bad reviews as I would not have trusted them with my Christmas presents.

Wife ordered nearly £400 of plants from them a couple of months ago. Had shopped with them before so felt confident, despite some recent reviews across various platforms. We should have trusted those reviews. Plants were packaged terribly and most arrived damaged, as well as breakage the plant foliage had actually been taped over during packing, and this wasn't just a couple of plants, it was 21, almost the whole lot. 2 plants were rotten and the base and beyond saving and a Hydrangea was leggy and of extremely poor quality, dead within a couple of weeks. Customer service was non-existant and they closed the customer service ticket without any communication. Will definitely avoid plant shopping online now.

Absolutely appalling service!!!! I ordered fruit trees from this website and they arrived dead and riddled with pests. I contacted them to request a refund and there was no reply. There is no phone number and they just close down your tickets. The plants were delayed well beyond the date they originally said they would be delayed till. I am still waiting on a reply from my complain. Don’t buy from them would be my advice

This company is dreadful and sends out dead plants! When they are advised of this they ignore you. I have photos and have contacted them on several occasion and get no where. I am extremely disappointed

These guys are clowns and should be investigated by trading standards. Went to cancel after 4 weeks of waiting and was told I couldn’t as the order was about to be dispatched. My £70 ordered arrived pretty much all damaged/dead and 2 of the plants had been changed for a cheaper verity. AVOID!!
