Still pending.
Reserved, booked and paid for a car on the 17th of January 2023 tracked pretty quickly and moved to pending, where it has remained. It is to date 39 weeks. I presume now that this cashback won't be paid. Europcar are quick to take money, they pestered me to add extras for weeks before picking up the car then supplied a banger with over 150000km on the clock, premium insurance doesn't mean 0 excess either there will be an admin fee for any small damage caused.

Pending, pending , and still pending
Booked and prepaid for car January 17th, tracked very fast but been stuck on pending ever since. At time of writing this is 34 weeks and 3 days. Not very good at all.

Terrible DO NOT USE. 2 weeks after leaving the vehicle back I have been charged for extras I never ordered nor used nor got. These people are fraudsters stay well clear. Check all paperwork before you sign anything with them. Will never use again

Had to manually claim for cashback but was eventually declined as couldn't be identified as the last referrer, which is incorrect, so no cashback. Service from Europcar was excellent however. My one star rating is for the cashback side of things only.

This is a terrible experience. I specifically look for the TopCashback icon when booking but often the cashback doesn't show. On my last purchase I can't even lodge a missing claim as it doesn't show on the account, despite it saying logged when I booked

It seems that you can get a better price by booking directly online without TopCashBack. If you follow the link, you end up paying about 20% extra!!!

The preference was to have given 0 stars but that's not possible. I made an online booking, transaction confirmed, everything seemed as normal. 15 minutes later I received a phone call from Europcar telling me that they didn't have any vehicles available for the dates selected even though the booking went through absolutely fine online. My booking was amended over the telephone at the national call centre which meant that the transaction didn't track in the end. No fault of Topcashback, entirely Europcar's doing.

Booked with cashback in January for rental in February, was expecting approx. £21 to be paid out but when checking account noticed that cashback had been declined. Lodged a claim and finally received a reply which read that Europcar would not be paying out the cashback, but were also giving no explanation as to why. Could not imagine a worse service, think a reason is the least you can ask.

....err, as I was saying, the cost of hiring a vehicle through the 'free' delivery and collection option is significantly higher than the collect and return it yourself option, so the so called 'free' delivery and collection is not free at all - you pay for it.

Many negative reviews around for Europcar to be found both on Topcashback and google and I can add yet another. I was the victim of what appears to be a deliberate fraud by Europcar whereby on the morning of the last day of a rental here in the UK I called the hire branch to arrange a collection of the vehicle by the branch as I was short of time to return the vehicle myself. What happened was that a different branch collected the car and returned it to their branch. This resulted in a 'one-way' charge of £48 being taken from my credit card without my authorisation and without my knowlewdge. The charge should never have been applied to the rental as it was nothing what-so-ever to do with me that a different branch collected the car to the one I rented from. It took an email(which they took over a week to reply to) and a 20 min phone call to customer services to sort it out and obtain a refund. A nice try by Europcar to fraudulently obtain revenue from me and God knows how many other times they they've tried it with customers and been successful due to customers not checking their invoices. In addition, Europcar have an additional scam on the go when you book a vehicle through their website. It operates as follows: When you obtain a quote through the Europcar website there is a default option whereby you put in your postcode/town and the dates you want the rental for. This brings back results starting with the cheapest vehicle available and some options to choose from. You then must collect the vehicle from the hire station and return it there on completion of the rental period. Now, here's the scam - also on the homepage of the Europcar website there is an option to book under the banner 'Delivery' or 'Delivery and Collection' When you click on either of these options a pop-up appears advising that delivery and collection is free(under certain conditions, such as within a 5 mile radius of hire station). Hired two vehicles from this company both via topcashback to be collected from Toulon airport in France, cashback total was near £200, this tracked but one of the hires paid as £0.00 and the other just sits in my pending at £83.81. One of the cars was what I would class as severely damaged, broken rear light cover, damage on every panel, the other car was fine. On booking we opted for the free carseats that they offer on the website only to be told at Toulon that these were extra, as I couldn’t review my invoice at the depot I paid up but on returning home it clearly stated on the invoice carseats x 3 = £0.00. Disappointed with the customer service, disappointed with one of the cars, disappointed with the false carseat offer and disappointed with them not honouring the cashback. All in all a thoroughly disappointing experience, would not recommend!

Cashback didn't track initially, then it seemed to take forever to get them to register it. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired as they totally ignored my communications with respect to the hire. I'll only use Europcar as a last resort in future.
