their website quotes different figures from their local offices - worth phoning around to get the cheapest deal. Pretty good overall but need to watch that the vehicles are in good order before driving off.

Tracked instantly and paid out quickly. In terms of cashback perfect, and the vehicle was exactly what I wanted too. Just before for bizarre upwelling tactics when you collect your vehicle. I booked entirely online (hence the tracking and cashback) and was offered insurance and petrol at a different rate to the customer standing next to me. I declined but asked why he had been offered superior rates and they answered that he had booked in advance online. In reality, I had booked advance online and he has just walked in off the street (I asked him). My advice: if you get a good deal online, don't take any extras on the day as the charges seem to be whatever they feel they can get away with

I rented through Europcar in April and May 2012. Actual car rental experience was professional and fine. However cashback failed to track, and my missing cashback claims (which were submitted soon after each rental) are still unresolved...nearly 12 months on!! I don't understand why it is taking Europcar so long to pay my cashback!! A very poor cashback experience.

Purchase made on 2 December, tracked within 24 hours. Was showing 8 weeks payable at the time of purchase, now on 7 Feb showing 9 weeks. I am still waiting for the cashback to turn payable so hopefully it will show as payable next week, rather than wait until 9 weeks and change to 10 weeks.

Car collected at Pisa. Got Bay number and went to get the car. It was smaller that the one we'd paid for. Went back to the desk and were told we had been downgraded! Said we would get refund of the difference when we returned car. Turned out WE had to request refund from Customer Services. Took nearly 3 weeks by which time £/€ had changed, so we got less than due. Worst service ever! Never again Eurocar!

5 Months Waiting For Cashback
Europcar service was smooth process and I needed to raise claim manually, although 5 months later I am still awaiting for feedback for my cashback. Other posts are highlighting that orders tracked and cashback was paid quickly, as I am trying to understand what "quickly/on-time" exactly means

Cashback tracked at much lower than advertised rate. After several attempts to get this sorted and acknowledgement from Topcashback that they would investigate I foolishly thought it would be ok to draw down the lower amount and wait for the balance. Big mistake as I have been notified that now my claim is viewed as completed. Doubt I will be using Europcar again.

Hardly worth bothering I've used Europcar quite a few times now and have received just two of the cashback payments. One of these was not for the amount promised and the explanation I received from Top Cash Back didn't make sense. I have been waiting for cashback from the other transactions for some months now and if I don't get anything I shall start renting cars from somewhere else. The service from Europcar has been mixed. The cars are excellent but I had a bad experience with their customer service recently.

Have used Europcar before, always in Ireland, and always been very satisfied. This time though, less than a week ago, we were not so impressed. First of all, 96 euros was actually taken from our credit card, for fuel, although it was a 'collect full, and return full' arrangement. At the end of the rental period, this 96 euros would be refunded after about 4 or 5 days we were told. This is not in their T&Cs. The car we were given, a Seat Mii, was extremely basic, and i think, not in the category I had booked and paid for - it didn't even have a clock, or central locking. Fortunately, we only had cabin baggage, because suitcases would not have fitted in the boot. Finally, instead of reparking the car, on return, and just handing in the keys, we were instructed to return it to the Europcar garage, where it would be inspected for any damage. No, we will not be using Europcar again.

Really disappointed with all of this. Booked because of cashback on offer, could have booked with other providers but went with this one because of cashback rate - cash back has never materialised despite numerous prompts/nudges and not a word back. The car we received was no where near the spec. we had paid for. Would not book again.

Had to make a claim for cashback which took to long for Europcar to pay up. Had problems with Europcar with regards to overcharging. Shocking customer service and still not resolved. Will never use again

Cashback didn't originally track so I raised a claim for it. After hearing nothing for 6 months regarding the claim, I sent a nudge to TCB and they got back to me within a couple of days instantly providing the missing credit.

Clicked through Topcashback and purchased a rental from Euopcar. Purchase date was 2nd April 2011, missing cashback ticket raised 8th April. Have sent a few nudges but it's now months later and I've heard nothing... Was purchased in the same way as normal and all other purchases through Topcashback tracked OK that day, just not this one. Had update from Topcashback on the 24th April that they had "submitted missing commission claim to Europcar UK" but no answer since. Europcar have been sent my booking details etc and Topcashback have a record of the visit which the booking was purchased from but it doesn't look promising, will use a different company for vehicle rental next time - I prefer the companies I use to actually honour their agreements...

Go with Hertz - the offers are the same, and they at least acknowledge their mistakes before you have to point them out. Europcar have too many disconnects between their departments to warrant a decent review.

Don't bother you won't get it.
Last time I will review this so called car rental company, I have lost all hope of getting any cashback from car rentals. They promise the earth and deliver nothing. Mine has been pending now since my booking in January "2023", 1 year and 1 month on day of reviewing. No matter what I do it seems I just do not get any cashback from car rentals. I have decided not to bother in future and will just book direct with rental companies where I know I will get a decent car at a decent price. Not TC's fault it's the companies.

Declined valid CB Claim
CB was not tracked on two occasions totalling around £40. I submitted a claim and then the retailer suggested that TCB was not the final referrer. This is a lie and Europcar just wanted to get out of their commitment.

And even now still pending, 10 months since booking and 3 months since rental. Worse car rental experience ever. In fact to be honest I have never succeeded in getting cashback from any car rental. so it's not worth trying for me any more.
