Really cheesed off, not surprised they've now gone to £0 cashback. TCB not interested in progressing until 90 days had elapsed, but this had to start of the end of the month you'd taken out the insurance; as the date of mine's taken me over the 100 days, TCB won't do a thing.
If they come back to offering any cashback, AVOID.
The Co-operative: good with fooling you.

Had a bit of trouble with their website and had to telephone them in the end but still received my cashback. The whole process takes about three months.

took car insurance out in 10/01/2010 just got £55 payable 9/06/10 now bit of waiting but worth it in the end. Will buy from co-op next year. Also well done Top cash Back top site and no problems getting cashback well done again

I'm having a poor experience with this. Got sucked in by promise of £68 cashback. Original transaction on 2 Feb failed to track - as usual for me! Opened a cashback query but Topcashback will not immediately follow up but insist on waiting 3 months. Topcashback indicated that they would submit to Co-op on 3 May. They have failed to do so despite 2 nudges. Next time I'll just go for the best value insurance without a cashback promise.

I was very pleased with the quote I got for my husband's car and will certainly get a quote for my car later in the year. The cashback tracked very promptly which was a relief, but not expecting payment for many months - whenever it happens will be an added bonus.

Only went with Co-Op due to their high £70 cash back last May 2009, however it only tracked at £55 the same day. Made a enquiry about it but was told that should wait until the amount was payable as it may change to £70. Believe it or not, only £55 was payable and I have since put a "Missing Cashback Enquiry" in December 2009! I have not received any reply, only the same old Co-Op are being "chased" for an answer. Would not recommend as been through so much aggro just to try and claim the £15 I was promised!

Just for the information of other TCB users. I purchased car insurance from Co-op on 03/10/09 at which time the transaction didn't track. After reporting it to TCB the matter was resolved and tracked at £70 in february 2010. As it was my first transaction I'd almost given up on it but blow me almost 6 months to the day in april it became payable and was released to my bank account. I can only confirm as much to my surprise as anyone elses that it does actually work after all! You have to be extremely patient though, expect to wait 6 months for payment but it will eventually come through in the end. Good luck!

my first purchase was car insurance, very competitve but cash back did not track, purchased october , now received cash back in april, due to good policy ,price ,and amount of cashback, purcahsed home insurance also pleased with cover ,this time cash back automatically traced , just waiting for it to be payable, good experience overall

Took out car insurance at the end of Nov 2009. Tracked quickly but stayed pending for a while. Finallly showed as paid a couple of weeks ago. You should expect to wait a while for the payment to come through on a product like this otherwise people would take out the insurance, get the cashback and then cancel. Happy with the result and a good insurance product and price to boot!
