I purchased a washing machine from A.d; they were the cheapest & cashback was prompt. However, they take the VAT off, it would appear, at the old 17.5% rate, rather than the recent 15%, before calculating this.

I received a courtesy call a few days before my fridge/freezer was due to arrive, which was helpful even though the woman tried to sell me insurance, then the item itself arrived on time. The delivery drivers were polite and helpful. The cashback even came through before the item was delivered.

Ordered on Saturday and Cashback appeared by Tuesday BUT only on ex-VAT amount. Purchase price was £306 and cashback only on £261 of this. Hmmmm....
