Second time unlucky!
The claim has been rejected on the basis that TopCashback was “not the last referrer”, which is an easy assertion for the supplier to make but impossible to challenge without any detail as to who this supposed “last referrer” was.
I use TopCashback regularly and am fully aware of the common pitfalls that can invalidate a claim. As standard practice, I open a clean browser session, clear cookies and cache, and complete the entire journey through the referral link directly to payment.
I have had successful claims with this merchant in the past (2024); however, I have now had not one but two recent claims rejected which is a real shame.
Given this, I would have serious reservations about relying on the integrity or transparency of this company’s referral tracking scheme in future.
Come on Alps2Alps, sort it out!
