Cashback exclusions and terms

Exclusions
  • Cashback is not available for customers renewing their current Tesco Pet Insurance policies.
  • Quotes originating from another site, e.g, price comparison sites, will not be tracked and are not eligible for cashback
  • Cashback will not be paid in conjunction with any other offer, voucher or discount code unless listed on this page, or with any other discounts such as staff or student discounts.
Terms
  • Cashback is only payable to new Lifetime, Maximum Benefit or Time Limited Tesco Pet Insurance customers who apply through TopCashback
  • Within 30 days of receiving your TopCashback quote, you must follow the link from TopCashback’s website to the Tesco Insurance website, generate a brand new quote and purchase the policy, in order to be eligible for cashback
  • Please be aware that this programme is actively monitored for fradulent activity and that BACS details are required to be entered in order for your cashback to be allocated. Cashback will be processed 90 days after the transaction date.
  • When purchasing your policy via TopCashback, cashback will not apply in conjunction with any other promotions. You will receive cashback but you will not be eligible to receive other special offers, for example Tesco gift cards, Tesco vouchers, and Tesco Clubcard points.
  • Cashback is only available online. Please ensure you have cookie tracking enabled
  • Cashback from this retailer can only be withdrawn via bank transfer.

Good to know
  • Once your policy has been live for 90 days and provided that all payments due have been received in full, you will receive confirmation that you have qualified for cashback. The cashback will be paid into your TopCashback account within two months of confirmation that policy has meet the required conditions (“Payable”).
  • When completing your quote you will be given a quote reference number on screen, in the following format: AAA1234567. Please keep this number until your cashback has been paid because it will be required if you need to submit a cashback claim
What to do when
  • Cashback is offered by TopCashback. Any cashback queries should be taken up with TopCashback, not Tesco Insurance.
About your purchase
  • Pets must be at least eight weeks old when cover starts, any pre-existing injuries and illness are not covered. Changes in your pet’s health or behaviour, or any illness that develops from these changes within the first 14 days of your cover start date, are not covered. Certain breeds of cat and dog are also not covered. Policy exclusions will apply.
  • Excesses will apply to your policy, which will affect the amount of premium you pay, and the amount you pay towards any vet treatment. An Overage Excess will apply to your policy when your pet turns a certain age (5 or 8 years old for a dog, depending on the breed, and 10 for a cat). After that, you'll have to pay 20% of any claim you make.
  • Multi pet discount is a minimum of £24 when insuring more than one pet. This is worked out at £1 per pet per month.
