RHS Gardens

There are four RHS gardens across the UK — Wisley in Surrey, Harlow Carr in North Yorkshire, Hyde Hall in Essex and Rosemoor in Devon — which welcome more than 1.2 million visitors each year.

Through these gardens, they help gardeners by providing access to diverse plant collections, examples of innovative and attractive planting design and good horticultural practices. They also hold regular talks, demonstrations and walks. Each RHS garden has something for everyone to enjoy. Harlow Carr is set in a valley and has a wide variety of growing landscapes, while it also features a Hedgehog-Friendly Garden and a Winter Walk.

Hyde Hall features its iconic Dry Garden, while a visit there will allow you to enjoy panoramic views and a constantly evolving estate. There is also a brown hare population which inhabits the site. Rosemoor is nestled in a Devon valley and blends formal and informal plantings. There is something to see all year round, including cherry tree blossom in the spring, the vibrant colours of the Hot Garden in summer, the woodlands in autumn and the Winter Garden.

RHS Garden Wisley, meanwhile, is the historic home of the Royal Horticultural Society and one of the world's great gardens. It is packed with inspiration, from the Rock Garden and the Glasshouse Landscape to the Bonsai Walk and the Bowes-Lyon Rose Garden. You will find information about all of their gardens on the Royal Horticultural Society website if you are planning a trip. The details you will find include garden highlights and news about events, plus information on how to get there, opening times and facilities. You can enjoy unlimited days out at all of their gardens with an RHS membership.
