Robert Dyas have achieved a four-star rating on TopCashback for a variety of reasons, including the items they sell, the service they provide and their fast delivery methods. Feedback provided by our members mentions the great products on offer and their “vast range”, while customers are also impressed with how swiftly their purchases arrive, with one highlighting a “seamless click and collect service” and another the fact an order arrived within a couple of days of placing it.

Value for money also seems to be an important reason why people have chosen to leave a good review. Members mention them being half the price compared to other retailers and the fact they bought items which were on a buy two, get one free deal. Regarding cashback, many members have comment on it tracking correctly and becoming payable quickly, with one customer saying they would “buy from Robert Dyas again as the cashback was very quick.”

The feedback is very similar on Trustpilot, where they have a three-star rating. Their customer service comes in for praise, with one reviewer saying they arranged within three minutes the replacement and collection of a faulty kettle. Again, the choice of products and delivery timescale are some of the reasons for positive feedback being left, while one regular customer states that the “quality of the products here are great. Have been using them for a decade now”.

Forgot about my order, emailed saying all was to be despatched, then phoned to say some bits missing and I would be refunded for those items. Took 5 days to reply to an email. V Poor experience.

It's now six months since my purchase. The cashback was quickly confirmed but since then nothing has happened and TopCashBack haven't received any subsequent payments from the merchant, and I've been asked to "wait just one more month". I wouldn't take the statistics given seriously as they are long out of date, and I wouldn't expect to receive any cashback any time soon from this merchant.

Please be careful when purchasing products at Robert Dyas as I recently purchased a kettle which was £10 over the manufacturer's recommended retails price, when I spoke to the sales assistant and the only support they both explained I should of shopped around! I will certainly do that in future and not have Robert Dyas as a option!

Retailer declined cashback on a large purchase after claiming I'd used an unauthorised discount. The discount was applied latterly due to delayed delivery by the Retailer! Fairly disgusting to be honest.

Poor customer service. They didn't fulfill my order and it took around 7 weeks and lots of emails to eventually get my money back. I placed my order on 23 April and they didn't deliver because they had cancelled the order. They said that they would process a replacement order, only to subsequently admit that they still hadn't done this. I eventually asked for a refund which they kept saying I would receive in 3-5 working days - the refund didn't come through and I had to keep following up. I eventually got my refund on 11 June.

Awful service, they took the payment but did not supply the goods, had to report them to my credit card issuer to get my money back. I lost approximately £150 in credit card interest!

Do not buy from Robert Dyas. I purchased a Sharp microwave oven from them and within 12 months of the warranty period it developed a fault and tripped the power in the kitchen. I contacted Robert Dyas and they were not interested, saying the warranty had nothing to do with them. They would not give me any details of where the Sharp service centre was and left me to my own devices. Their customer service staff make a point of being unhelpful. Do not trust Robert Dyas and do not but from them under any circumstances.

Whilst payment and pick up was easy, the cashback tracked at less than half of expected. No reason given and seems they can make it up as they go along. Thankfully this was not lots of money we were talking about but they are not paying what they say they do.

Dreadful, wanted to give them 0 out of 5. They have reduced the amount of cashback on my last 2 purchases, and refuse to stand by the original amounts. It has really put me off using them in future.

I would give it zero stars if I could! After a few days, my cashback was showing a different amount compared to what I really should be earning. RD claims to have given the ‘correct’ amount back but it’s less than half of the actual amount I was quoted. Don’t purchase from RD, they’re like most British politicians, full of rubbish, lies and can not deliver the goods!

Terrible customer Service poor quality products Terrible customer Service, Never buy from this cowboy's. Would put dell boy to shame. If something goes wrong with transaction or product expect no response. Be careful with online purchase refunds as they are never processed. I returned my online purchase,in store and recept was given but the money never showed up in my account. Haven't still been paid.  Second time a very bad experience with this retailer.
