Don't use them. I went on their website to book a collection and the item weight is 11kg but I couldn't shrink wrap it back into the box. The supplier agreed that I can tape the bag and return it to them. K then contacted Parcel monkey to say that the weight of my parcel is the same but the dimension is different - should I cancel my collection and rebooking? They said the courier will tell me the price different when collecting the item. The courier arrived and just picked it up. I showed him the box that it couldn't fit in with weight and dimension and he just said it's fine! A week later, Parcel Monkey wrote to tell me they charged me extra £53 because the new dimension means that the weight is 25kg. I forwarded them the email from the supplier confir ing the weight of 11kg and they still insisted nothing can be done!

The courier damaged and lost items from my delivery in a 24hr timeframe. Parcel monkey then made me jump through excessive hoops to make a claim. It took them two weeks from the incident to even send me a claim form. They have also charged me an overweight fee claiming that my 3kg parcel was 67kg, I have repeatedly asked them for evidence of this which they obviously do not have as this is untrue so they have ignored these requests. The package was collected by one delivery driver and, unless he was the hulk, it is obvious that my parcel was not 67kg. They have refused to refund the fee despite comment sense making it clear that it is erroneous. Depending on the results of my claim, I am looking into filing with small claims court

Avoid at all costs!!! Slightly cheaper than going direct with the courier, but there's a good reason why. You are treated like a 2nd or 3rd class customer in the couriers eyes by using Parcel Monkey. Parcel sent on a next day service, arrived 4 days late. Frequently given incorrect advice by Parcel Monkey No compensation offered.

It looked to good to be true and it was. I have been charged extra money as apparently my parcel was bigger and weighed more than stated. Sadly Parcel Monkey can't provide evidence and push that back onto the customer to provide and even more worrying that have quoted me 2 different parcel sizes and 6 different weights. Beware they can charge you what they like retrospectively!

Paid for 48 hour delivery, our boxes arrived 3 days late. This we could cope with but when the boxes did arrive they were severely damaged. Whole sides were ripped off boxes and various items were smashed, broken and damaged. We packaged everything in line with the guidance and so we are obviously extremely disappointed with this service. We took out insurance and this counts for nothing!! They are refusing to give compensation for things NOT on the restricted items list. Absolute cowboys. They have broken so much of our stuff and I will have to replace it all myself.

What an absolute disgrace of a company They lost my item and gave me 7 days to produce a receipt or they wouldnt pay me. I was unable to obtain the receipt in that time due to the company I bought from being closed due to Covid so I had to wait for an email back confirming purchase. Parcel Monkey told me I was too late and the case is closed!!

They maybe just the agent, but they still take your money and you enter a contract with them, not the delivery company. However, they do not take responsibility when something goes wrong and are no help, their customer service is a laugh. The parcel I sent was was never delivered and Parcelmonkey did nothing apart from apologising. They did not even offer to fulfil their contract after I myself!!! found the parcel, which was missing. It took a whole month of my time and effort, not theirs. I had it delivered back to my address as the only option. I then had to send it to its destination using parcels2go, which was a success, though I paid twice for the parcel being delivered. I am still waiting for a refund from Parcel Monkey but judging on reviews, I am not hopeful. They have a customer service which is the worst, its non-existent, they are only good at writing apologetic emails and shifting blame, despite your contract being with them and them having happily taken your money. NEVER USE THEM, it's fine if all goes well, but there is no help if it goes wrong. There is no phone number, only their message service and they only reply if you persistently write to them, however, never with constructive help. Totally unacceptable and useless. AVOID

3 weeks ago I posted 4 dresses to a customer in the US. I used the same grey mailing bag I have always used. I then received an email telling me that my 55cm mailing bag was measured at 88cm and it weighed twice as much as I quoted! I was then automatically charged an additional £10! When I wrote and complained about this and asked to see the evidence, nothing solid was supplied. I had used Parcel Monkey for many years but the total lack of customer support when they make a mistake is disgusting. Well done Parcel Monkey for losing a customer for life. Avoid this company at all cost. Everything is fine when they take your money. They do not want to know when something goes wrong.

Last week they collected a parcel off me. I paid for £400 worth of cover when the buyer got the item it was severely damaged so i contacted them, sent them images of the damage and explained the damage in detail. They then had a investigation but after 2 days they said i could not make a claim as there is no evidence that they damaged it.
Extremely bad service.

Used this company 3 times in 2010 expecting £2.00 cashback on each occasion. I have been told now in 2013 that there will be no cashback. I see they are not offering cashback now and even if they were I would never use them again as they do not do what they say they will. Plenty of other parcel companies around as an alternative

Due to a problem with a shower quadrant I had purchased online I had to send the item back in order to obtain a full refund. I was advised to look at Parcel Monkey which I did and after completing all the required on line documents and being sold extra insurance the item was due to be picked up and sent back as required. The item was collected and away it went, after about a week I contacted the company concerned regrading my refund, they told me they had not received the item and could I check to see who had signed for it at their end. As Parcel Monkey had used Nightfreight to transport the goods I contacted them to look into my problem. I was told that the item had been damaged and that Parcel Monkey new about this and should have contacted me as I needed to make a claim under the insurance that I was sold.the item was being sent back to me for my attention. As Parcel Monkey have no contact number you can only contact them via email which I did. I was asked to send proof of purchase and pictures of the damage. I sent the proof of purchase but no picture as I did. Not have the item in question. This was then passed on to the claims section who turned my claim down as they said it was on their prohibited list which I am unable to find on their web site. On my invoice it clearly states what the item was and also when the driver collected the item the box clearly shows a picture of the item so my question was why did. They accept the job in the first place and to compound this why did they charge me the extra insurance? I have contacted Nighfreight again who can't find my item and say they may have put it in a skip!!!!!. All in all I do not have the item damaged or otherwise and I am also £300 out of pocket + costs. They are only interested in taking your money and not in providing a good service I would not recommend them as due to the fact that you can only contact them via email they just ignore these when they want. DO NOT USE PARCEL MONKEY if you want a good serv
