a friend recommended these lot after getting some money off for having an IRV ticket (a blue light permit for anyone that doesnt know what that is) - they managed to save me 84 from the best quote that I have had....seemed pleasant enough on the phone. would recommend to anyone in the emergency services etc etc

A colleague mentioned these guys to me, as they give a discount if you have any blue light tickets. I did my course quite a few years ago, as I am a paramedic. Apparently, the bloke who set it up used to be in the emergency services (not sure which one) so I thought that I would give them a go. They managed to beat my best quote by about £40 which isnt too bad. They also gave me a lower excess because of my blue light course. like someone else has said on here, most insurance companies are hard to deal with, but these guys make a nice change. The only think i would say is that I wasnt allowed to add my brother on the Policy as he is unemployed - which is fair enough i suppose as it is a key worker policy! I also got £49.00 for referring over a couple of colleagues! about time a company actually gave something back

considering how annoying insurance is, this company isnt too bad. took 4 days for my certificate to arrive, but i gave up looking for the perfect insurance company 15 years ago when i first bought insurance!! they do offer discounts for keyworkers, but they dont class all public sector staff as key workers so you will have to check.

found this company via a colleague of mine in the Forces who had managed to get a half decent quote with them last month. I am a CO in the RLC so was hoping for a good discount. I wasn't disappointed. I managed to get a discount for my rank (Capt) and my excess was lowered by £100. The chap with whom I spoke was very polite. I will certainly recommend to my colleagues

Just got my new Golf insured with keyworker. Really good price, although my excess was £300 but then the car is worth £16K. I got more money off as I work for east of England ambulance trust. The girl I spoke to (Gina I think her name was) was really helpful, which makes a change cos most people you speak to at insurance companies are just grump lol....highly recommended company thou

I purchased insurance from this company after finding them on topcashback to be the cheapest. When I proceeded to follow the link to their website to pay for the policy I got an error. After calling them I eventually managed to pay for the policy. I then sent all requested information (including scans of mine and my named drivers' licences etc). I still haven't received a cover note even though I have been insured with them for some time now. I have recently called them to change my address, they were supposed to be calling me back but this has yet to happen. My advice: AVOID THIS INSURER.

hi - just bought car insurance for my mini from keyworker insure. saved me about £80 from my renewal quote as I am a nurse so very happy. would recommend to anyone in the nhs etc etc....x

Just got some cachback from these guys. I bought the Policy online but then had a call from someone who checked my details and because I have done my EFAD, they reduced my excess by 200...well chuffed...don't know why people moan about not getting call backs, I never get call backs from anyone!! would recommend these guys thou, esp if you are in the emergency services etc

I have found them from moneysupermarket.com and I went to their website page and completed everything and when I wanted to pay I got a error message and straight after that someone from Keyworker called me and went through my details and then told me to call me back in 5 minutes.
I waited almost an hour and nothing happened . I call them back myself and they told me they will call me within 30 min . Its about 4 hours now and nothing happened . im very unhappy with their service and wont get insurance from them .
Very poor costumer service .

I bought car insurance from these guys two days ago. def one of the best 'insurance' related experiences I have had. They quoted me £581 online, someone called me and asked me a few questions about my job (I work for the MOJ) and then they beat my price by £58. V V V happy esp as I am off to Greece in two days ;-)

Received shockingly poor service from these insurers in July 2013. I am a chartered accountant. Found them via a confused.com search, was quoted a price but then when I had almost completed payment, I got the message that my payment had been turned down by the insurers and to call a certain number. Did so, was kept on the phone after answering several questions (that all checked out), and then was told that I would get a call back the following morning about the car insurance that I was trying to purchase. And that was it - never heard from them again. Absolutely appalling customer care - would not recommend them to anyone! AVOID!!!
