Takes forever to reach confirmation status - then it's £0 payout
This is not the first TCB deal that's failed to payout despite clicking through to order & pay from one tab immediately. Cleared cache etc ensured both signed into accounts. You win some. You loose some. Done well for free stuff out of TCB over the years - so will keep using. As others have said this was a high value purchase - so perhaps they thought I'd already had a good enough discount compared to other retailers

Cashback Scammers
Spent £550 on an iPhone as an Xmas present. Just realised John Lewis declined the payment for god knows why. IMO offering cashback and then not paying can only be described as a scam. Won't be buying anything from these cowboys again

Declined my cahsback for no reason
The offer clearly states that cashback is available on all goods. I bought £500 worth of items and got literally £0 since they declined to pay anything, a bloody scam! This has happened 2 times now! Avoid and try somewhere else, they don't need your money

john lewis transaction did not complete
The john lewis cashback has never completed even though my order details are still showing up on my top cashback account. The purchase date was 10 DEC 23 and was last updated on the 12 MAY 24.

JL do not track or pay
I only have a TCB affiliated account, JL did not track so I raised a ticket, reply TCB was not the last referral. I clear cookies/cache etc. and this is not the first time on large transactions TCB/retailer does not pay. It seems to only track on small purchases.

Disappointed
I have purchased several high value items from JL over the past months, none of the purchases tracked despite me clearing cookies etc. Each time, after lodging claims, cashback was denied because they were 'not the last referral site used'. On each occasion JL was the only website I visited to make my purchases. It is extremely frustrating and disappointing.

John Lewis said they would payput 2% cashback but after 3 months waiting with the cashback showing, they then declined it saying the purchase order was amended or returned. That wasn't true as I am using the items now!. I was so surprised that a reputable company like John Lewis would not honour this. As a result I would be very wary about using them again.

I am a loyal John Lewis customer, but was left disappointed
I bought 3 high priced electrical items one being a laptop for my partners birthday. I did have a choice of where to buy and there was another retailer offering the same laptop for a lot cheaper. I value the John Lewis service offering and even with the offer it was very slightly more expensive than the other retailer, I trusted my judgement and bought through JL. Unfortunately, no cash back was received - I thought I had checked the T&Cs so have been left well out of pocket and perplexed why the cash back commitment wasn't received - come on JL!

Shocking - should be ashamed
Given their reputation, John Lewis have declined in terms of the high street presence and their commitment to their customers. The time for them to payout is ridiculous- I could earn more interest with my back savings in the time it takes them. There is ok reason for any retailer to take more than 8 weeks to settle . Will be very surprised if this is ever honoured.

Very bad service every year I use this company.
Didn't track, so re read the terms. Cashback not payable for 3 or more of the same items as not deemed for personal use!!!! My Clarins creams for the year!!

Did not track and cannot see why
I completely cleared my browser and restarted, logged into TCB, navigated to the John Lewis page, clicked through to JL's website, then staying in the same tab ordered a dishwasher (nothing else), paid, and received it a few days later. The setup was as simple as it could possibly be -- no voucher codes, weird navigation, or funny business of any kind. Did not track. Disappointed.

Dont bother
Refused cashback due to "not being the last referreral site used". I've never signed up for any other referrers and I use a clean browser for purchases. Presume they will wiggle out at every opportunity.

they say it failed to track, but I have purchased from and received cashback from many other merchants so nothing wrong with my computer setup or how I make purchases. If there is a problem I think it is with their systems for tracking purchases.
