Been a member for sometime and get told by topcashback that they were not the last referral and cashback has been refused. I know how to get cashback so this is rubbish. Avoid!

Did not get the correct cashback amount (£30 instead of £80). Homeserve advised that this was because tcb wasn't the referrer. If this is the case why are they paying £30!

This is my second review as having now read all the bad reviews about Homeserve, I feel I need to add more. This is the first time I have had a cashback turned down and I have been a member for many years. Homeserve first started to say that I needed a different reference number than the one I provided. I went through all the paperwork and gave them every possible reference number that they required and they still refused to pay. This is a complete con.

5 months in and still waiting for cashback to become "payable". TCB are notably absent in their assistance in this case which is unusual; appears they have had enough too. Going on the other reviews and my own experience, I'd recommend you avoid HomeServe.

Don't waste your time with this lot , you won't get paid cashback and go elsewhere , a complete con and i will be cancelling as soon as i have had boiler serviced.

Went with Homeserve due to £75 cashback. This was in September. Cashback did not track. I raised this, only to be given a very suspicious, half-baked answer about a reference ID not being provided(?), therefore cashback claim has failed. Very poor.

Cashback declined after waiting 5 month. Been a member of topcashback for few years and this is the first time I have ever had cashback declined. Only took out the breakdown policy with homeserve because of the high cashback. Avoid this merchant. Looking at recent reviews I'm not the only person this has happened to.

Watch out for their on line sales techniques, when you go via the link they offer you alternative products which if you select you will lose your cash back (they dont tell you about this) and because of the long payment time you will find you fall foul of the 100 day (14 week) rule to file a recovery claim/complaint...I've learnt from experience here so just beware

Just be aware when you go to the merchants website they try to sell you alternative products which if you select as I did you then their is no cash back, so I lost out in excess of £100 so I wont be selecting a home serve cashback again

My first Cashback to ever be declined. I've been using this site for over 5yrs and have received £hundreds back, so not a newbie. Only chose Homeserve because of its amazing cashback incentive and now they refuse to pay. Definitely won't be renewing. With regards to there actual service can't really comment as it was never required.

long term TCB user with decent running total of received cashback - transaction never tracked in May 2014. Still waiting on a response from merchant almost 4 months on, don't hold much hope of seeing this...... out of interest, anyone receive anything from these guys?

No cashback 6 months down the line. Awful company, called out to fix boiler, they claimed they couldn't repair it. Called British Gas, they came out the same day and fixed boiler. Don't bother with these cowboys...

Just completed purchase online after several attempts due to error msgs (similar to other customers' feedback). However, got email from Homeserve saying there has been error in processing that application... ?? Can anyone help? I was intending on waiting a few days... perhaps policy documents will come through. Hesitant to call as well because i have lost out on cashback by calling up a different merchant before...

Shocking. Applied online, within 10 seconds get an email saying problem with the application please call us. Tried several times since (didn't want to phone as they may then decline cashback) and kept getting that email every single time within a matter of seconds. Finally gave in and called them up to find out that the policy was set up first time around and that I got the email 'in error'.
