What are the security implications of Biometric Authentication on the mobile apps?

We do not store any data of your face or fingerprint. When you enable biometric authentication, your device will store a unique biometric template for you. This template is never shared with us, it's used to verify your identity whenever you try to access a secure page in our app.

We’ve built biometric authentication on our mobile apps in a way that feeds into your device biometrics (if enabled), and allows for the same fingerprints/faces to be authenticated so we can take you to the page you want to access securely, and quickly.

You can disable biometric authentication any time via the Settings & FAQs page on the TopCashback app, or via your device settings.
