I had to wait 10 months to find out that "another merchant has been credited cashback for this purchase not topcashback" even though i went through top cashback. Poor customer service by e2save and the item was faulty when I received it and getting it replaced was a nightmare. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RETAILER!!!!!!!

I placed my order and it's tracked. Then e2save cancelled my order. After I contacted them they were very happy to re-place the order, of couse no more cashback. It happened twice in different years. Because I needed the phone at the time so I had to swallow it. Should you?

I purchased my new Iphone 4 via TCB with E2Save, turned up quickly, couldn't fault the service and the transaction showed up with my £100 in my overview.......brilliant I thought. Until a few weeks later checking my overview, my cashback was showing as zero. TCB said they will chase the supplier......I've also chased them and they said 'they would never have had such an offer on the Iphone 4', but have since said I should take up with TCB. Not happy at all. I would have stuck with my usual phone supplier otherwise if I'd known I'd be cheated out of a valid transaction!

So 3 months after my purchase of HTC Desire and have to put through an enquiry this is the response I get from TopCashBack. Considering I have been using topcashback for around 2 years I think I know how to use it!:

Unfortunately it appears that your claim could not be approved. The comment that has been posted regarding this rejection is that 'Another marketing channel was credited with the sale'. This does suggest that your commission (or cashback) for your queried transaction has been credited to another referrer and not Top CashBack, most possibly due to the fact that Top CashBack have not been marked as your initial or last referrer to this sale. Please note that this does not necessarily mean that another cashback website has been involved and this can include entities such as search engines, comparison websites, voucher code websites etc – that may be directly or indirectly associated in some way with this transaction. I’m afraid that the name of this company or entity in question is not specified to us due to strict confidentiality reasons, and therefore we do not have this information to pass on to you.
Please also note that it is very unlikely that this outcome has been a mistake on the part of the merchant or any of the intermediary agencies that may have been used to arrive at this decision as there are robust systems in place to trace back this sale to see as to who has been the last referrer.
We are sorry that this has taken so long for you, we have been trying hard to get this pushed through for you but it appears that the retailer is steadfast in declining all of our submissions that they receive from us with regards to this transaction as a valid reason has been given for rejection. Please don't dismiss them out of hand due to some of the negative comments on here. I nearly did but am so glad I didn't! I took them up on the iphone4 offer of £100 cashback for a contract with some hesitation. Sure enough the next day I had a text from them asking me to call them on an 0871 number. In the meantime I had a call from my bank to check what they were concerned was an unusual transaction on my credit card. I cleared this with them and called e2save ready to cancel the order. I didn't need to - they were in touch because of this stop on my card & simply resubmitted the order which went through without a problem while I was on the phone. I checked with the man I was speaking to about the cashback & he stated there would be no issue with it as it was all still under the same order number - maybe this is the key for those who have had issues? Sure I wasn't too keen to phone an 0871 number, but I was getting £100 cashback! The cashback tracked within hours and 1 month later it has been confirmed. The phone was delivered free within 48 hours without any problems setting up the o2 account. I would most definitely use e2save again and will be looking at their offers when my husbands phone is up for renewal!

I recieved my iphone today, even though I placed my order on the 29/10/10, I had to call them about 3 times to find out what was going on with my order but each time I called the operative would say they didn't know why the order hadn't been dispatched and that as far as they could tell the warehouse should've sent it, they were very helpful and chased it up each time but apart from that I am very pleased with the cashback which tracked really quickly and by the look of things I also got in there just in time as the amount has now dropped.

This was the best iphone deal going. I did have to phone up as the new phone was for my Son and I paid so it got a bit complicated, but so far the £100 cashback is sitting as tracked so fingers crossed!
