In 1964 the original owners of Cornish Traditional Cottages, Michael and Dawn, bought a derelict, old cottage in Padstow for their family use. It was to be the first of many they would reclaim over the next 10 years, initially just as a hobby. Soon, friends and friends-of-friends asked Michael and Dawn if they could help market their holiday homes too, and it wasn’t long before they had a whole portfolio of properties - and so Cornish Traditional Cottages was born. In the beginning, as our name suggests, we specialised in traditional Cornish cottages, but over time this has evolved to a portfolio of everything from those cosy fishermen’s cottages to luxury lodges, contemporary apartments and stylish, spacious homes. There’s one thing that has never changed however, and that’s the friendly and personal nature of our service.
