Cash back declined
As with many other reviews, my cash back has been declined. I complied with all the rules, and didn’t even claim Meerkat freebies. Feels like a scam, so will not be using the Meerkat again, and will warn family and friends of the scam, so they don’t use.
Bad customer experience and top cash back needs to take better control of this, otherwise people won’t use either.

Glad to see it's not just me based on the reviews. Would advise anyone to use one of the other comparison sites. Decline even though every single requirement was met. Plenty of others that provide the same cashback, would really advise use another via TCB.

Unfortunately, just like many others my cashback was declined. Feels like they just don't want to honour their cashback promise. It's a shame as I've always used Compare the Market, but I guess they've become greedy. I'll go elsewhere in future.

it took ages to get this and also had to raise a claim to get this money as they said didn't meet criteria ,
finally got what was owed seem some of these companies are not honouring what they say with topcashback

Declined cashback with no specific explanation
I make my insurance purchase decision based upon an assumption that I am going to receive the stated cashback from the comparison platform. When that doesn't happen it calls into question whether I would have got a better net deal with another insurance company and/or another comparison platform. Compare the Market declined my cashback - the only 'explanation' was that I hadn't met the merchant's conditions. Unless they specify which condition I've failed to meet, that explanation is meaningless and offers me no opportunity to dispute the claim further. I shall not use Compare the Market again next time.

Same issue here. Pending for months, eventually they denied for absolutely no reason giving a blanket terms and conditions breaking statement.
Go compare paid on another policy I opened around the same time. I would go there way.

The cashback was pending for months and eventually declined even though I had purchased a valid policy.
I specifically used Compare the Market because of their great cashback offer but will use other comparison websites in the future because of this negative experience.
