Cashback terms and exclusions

About your transaction
  • A completed quote is not an eligible purchase and therefore is not eligible for Cashback, you will only be eligible for Cashback on a completed purchase of a broadband contract (“Product”). You will only be eligible for Cashback if Compare the Market (the “Merchant”) is able to link your Product purchase to the TopCashback website. This means you must: 1. Log into your TopCashback account. 2. Click from TopCashback directly to the Merchant’s website ensuring you have selected the correct product category. 3. Generate a brand new search for broadband deals and make your purchase immediately (in the same session and without exiting your browser).
What will stop me getting cashback?
  • If you apply an additional discount that reduces your overall purchase price, this may cause your cashback to be declined or reduced. e.g Voucher codes, student discount, staff discount.
  • If your purchase is not fully completed online.
  • If you participate in any other offer/ promotion that are not posted and approved by TopCashback
  • If you have any cookie blockers active in your browser that prevent the transaction to be tracked correctly.
  • Editing or using a previously saved quote or product comparison from your Compare the Market account will not be tracked and you will not be eligible for Cashback.
  • If you, or the broadband provider, cancel the broadband contract before Cashback is deposited in your TopCashback account.
  • If you don't pay your monthly instalment in full or, if paying by Direct Debit your monthly payments are not kept up to date.
  • Cashback is eligible for customers who are located in the UK only.
  • Using a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
What else is essential?
  • Purchases must be completed immediately and fully online.
  • Transactions will initially track at £0 and uplift upon validation
  • This merchant calculates cashback excluding VAT, delivery and any other charges.

  • This Merchant calculates Cashback excluding VAT, delivery and any other applicable charges. The Merchant reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Cashback offer at any time. The Merchant’s decision will be final.
What to do when
  • If your Cashback is not tracked, Compare the Market allow up to 45 days after the purchase date to submit a claim.
  • If your Cashback is rejected, Compare the Market allow up to 6 months after the purchase date to submit a claim.
  • We will make all reasonable endeavors to secure the payment of commission on a transaction but we do not and cannot make any guarantee in this regard.
