Whether it is the bright lights of the city, the jungle or the mountains you are planning to visit, you will certainly find plenty to see and do in Argentina.

Buenos Aires, the capital, is known for being one of the most exciting cities on the planet thanks to its nightlife. See bright, bold murals and soak up the cool bohemian vibe in the restaurants and bars of the San Telmo part of town, and get by on about £25 a day if you base yourself away from the most exclusive hotspots.

If you want to get away from the intensity of Buenos Aires, you can take a trip to the central plains of La Pampa or the Andes mountains on the western border with Chile.

Alternatively, for something extra special, then plan a trip to Patagonia in southern Argentina, home to Tierra del Fuego - the most southerly city on the planet and a departure point for excursions to the Antarctic. To save money, you can get a bus from Buenos Aires, which can take anywhere from 24 to 36 hours, but it will be well worth it as you will see penguins, dolphins and whales in the UNESCO protected nature reserve of Peninsula Valdes.

If you fancy booking a luxury holiday in Argentina, you will find some great cashback deals at Kuoni Luxury Holidays.

Hungary’s capital is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, with Gothic and Neoclassical architecture straddling the Danube river. Explore medieval castles, leafy parks and thermal spas, and with meals from £2, train tickets for £1 and rooms for £10, Budapest represents an inexpensive option if you are thinking of a weekend city break or a base to explore the rest of Hungary.

Sample the natural hot springs at the Szechenyi Thermal Bath in Pest - the area on the east bank of the Danube, opposite Buda castle - for the grandest bathing experience you are likely to have, enjoy gourmet pastries at Gerbeaud or a slice of chocolate chimney cake called kurtoskalacs.

If you want to explore a little further afield, you can visit Lake Balaton in western Hungary, which is the biggest lake in central Europe and features freshwater shores and a pine forested landscape, or take a cruise up the Danube to the stunning Catholic basilica at Esztergom.

Still relatively unspoiled and undeveloped, this Southeast Asian country remains super cheap, as well as being beautiful. You should be able to get by on less than £10 a day and it is possible to find beds for under £5 in the country’s largest city - Ho Chi Minh. With a pint of local beer costing around 50p and a bowl of beef or chicken noodle soup about 75p, you will be able to explore Vietnam’s rich history and culture on a budget.

Take a trip to Hoi An, an old UNESCO World Heritage port on the river featuring beautiful Chinese merchant houses and which is easily accessible from either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. You will also find rice terraces and flower farms, but if you fancy something a little more adventurous, why not go on an official ‘Easy Rider’ motorbike experience to Vietnam’s central highlands? You can also take in a section of the old Viet Cong supply route - the Ho Chi Minh highway - which runs between the city and Hanoi.

Bulgaria offers something for everyone, from Black Sea resorts and the culture of it’s capital city, Sofia, to skiing in the mountain resort of Bansko from December until mid-May.

The coastal resort of Sunny Beach pretty much lives up to its name and represents a bargain compared to traditional summer sun destinations such as the south of Spain. You can relax and work on your tan without spending more than £25 a day, while for those wanting a more ‘lively’ holiday, the local draught beer is around £1.

For pretty much the same daily budget, you can explore Sofia, which is full of museums and galleries, as well as Lulin Beach and its three outdoor swimming pools.

If you are looking for a great value long-haul destination, Bali could be the place for cheap 2016 family holidays with a difference. With the pound still relatively strong against the Indonesian rupiah and private accommodation available for about £5 a night, it is ideal for those looking for an exotic adventure but who are travelling on a budget.

The stunning island is crammed with dazzling temples and volcanoes, while if it is the beach life you are going for, you will be spoilt for choice. Uluwatu beach features a stunning temple perched on the cliffs, while if you are thinking of having a go at surfing, try Kuta for cheap board rentals and lessons.

For those seeking a little more culture, you will discover art on every corner in Ubud, as well as traditional Balinese dancing.

Experience five-star luxury without the price tag and visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World on a trip to Cambodia, where you can sleep for a few pounds and enjoy delicious food like amok coconut curry and deep-fried tarantulas for even less!

You cannot visit Cambodia without paying a visit to the iconic ancient site that is Angkor Wat Archaeological Park. For that truly spectacular experience, arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage site before dawn to watch the sun rise behind Angkor Wat temple itself. Entry costs around £15 for the whole day, but because there are so many temples to see, it is worth paying in the region of £30 for a three-day pass. You can hire a bicycle and cycle there for the 4am sunrise, while a stay in Siem Reap - the closest city to Angkor - could cost less than £5 a night for a dorm bed.

For soaking up the sun, Otres Beach on Cambodia’s southern coast represents an unspoiled paradise.

To experience Central America on a budget, try Honduras, where you will enjoy luxury for much less than in neighbouring Costa Rica. While it may cost you a fair bit to get there, once you are in the second biggest country in Central America, you will find it relatively inexpensive as it offers bargain diving trips, cheap cocktails and white sand beaches lined with palm trees.

Go scuba diving and find yourself swimming with whale sharks, enjoy the urban cool of the capital, Tegucigalpa, or relax on the tranquil West Bay Beach on the island of Roatan if you want to really get away from it all.

The country is speckled with pretty post-colonial towns, none more so than Comayagua, with its quaint Spanish houses, ornate cathedral and packed plazas. Grab a traditional Honduran baguette or bistec (steak) sandwich for about £1.50 and picnic in Parque Central - all just a two-hour drive from the capital.

While shopping in Mumbai’s designer shops or staying in an international hotel in Delhi could set you back a hefty packet, the cost of living is ridiculously low in the majority of India’s 29 states. Even travelling first class on the trains or taking taxis everywhere, it is possible to live like a raj on around 1,500 rupees (about £17) a day.

You will certainly find plenty to see in the seventh largest country in the world, from the Pink City of Jaipur in the west to the white sands of Kerala in the south. However, you cannot fly all that way without seeing the most famous tomb in the world - the Taj Mahal in Agra.

Back in the capital, Delhi, you will find some of India’s best street food, especially in the narrow streets and bustling boulevards around Connaught Place.

Alternatively, if you would rather get away from the hustle and bustle, the western state of Goa is popular with backpackers and those travelling on a budget. Hunt for bargains in the flea market, swim with turtles or try your hand at kitesurfing - all for about £5 a day, including food and a cocktail on one of the many beautiful beaches!

The smallest country on the African mainland certainly offers big savings when it comes to everyday holiday essentials and excursions, with the standard taxi fare being around £1.

Get up close to a crocodile at Kachikally Museum and Crocodile Pool or see the monkeys at Bijilo Forest Park - both of which are just a short drive from the main coastal tourist area of Kololi.

Take a break at Sanyang Beach or test out your haggling skills in the craft markets at Serrekunda. However, Gambia is the ideal place for relaxing, so why not enjoy a beer at sunset or a luxury massage at the Coco Ocean Resort & Spa in Bijilo for a fraction of the price you would pay at home?

Always a popular holiday destination, the country’s ongoing economic difficulties mean the cost remains low - especially if you choose the right destination for 2016 package holidays.

If you are staying in Athens, meanwhile, you can visit the Sardonic Gulf island of Hydra for the day by catamaran and enjoy some of the best souvlaki (kebabs), or sail to Kefalonia, made famous by the film Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, for a traditional pie filled with meat and gravy.

billyb144210 Jul 16 - 13:34I agree really strange to think why someone thinks the new design is better?

The new design shows all the information a member needs to see which is something the old cashback by merchant page didn’T. The issue therefore is helping members understand this page and also gaging what issues they are having with it and resolving these which is something we are currently looking at.
Best wishes,
Lauz109 Jul 16 - 18:36Whats up with the new way your transactions are displayed in your account, it makes it so confusing to see your transactions etc. Before it was easy to see what transactions were pending etc now everything just looks a mess and the panel on the right doesn't display the correct amounts for pending, confirmed etc. Before it was such a nice clean display of your transactions and how they were progressing or not as is the case for any gaming transactions

Please change back or send your members a survey asking them what they think

Thanks for your feedback and I can assure you we are keeping an eye and taking on board all feedback coming in from members about this.
I understand why members liked cashback by merchant but unfortunately this page didn’T display all the information required for a transaction such as estimated payable date, order numbers etc. We had the cashback by date page but members often missed the information on the screen. We therefore tried to create a page that showed all the information but in a format you could filter and sort as you wanted. The same information you are used to seeing is there, just in a different way. That’S not to say the page is perfect and we are reading very carefully into the comments received to try and make things even better.

In regards to the amount on the right hand side, this is something we are looking at and working on.

Best wishes,
