We just want to share an update on the Summer Sweet Treats game.
Unfortunately, we’ve identified an issue with the game’s interface that was incorrectly displaying up to 75 times the intended value of prizes.
While we know some members may have welcomed the unexpected prize values, the issue makes it impossible to keep the game fair and consistent for everyone.
We can only apologise as this isn’t a problem that we can find a perfect solution for, and trust us, we have tried! We just aren’t able to award everyone the amount of prizes displayed while keeping the current game running fairly.
Fairness is something we take seriously. We believe in always doing the right and fair thing for our members, our business, and our team.
We always consider our members first, and we love saving you money. On this occasion, we also need to make a decision that protects the integrity of the game and allows us to invest in future games and improvements.
We understand this may be disappointing if you were shown or were expecting a higher-value prize, and we truly appreciate that. But to protect the fairness of the game for all members, and to ensure future rounds are played on a level playing field, we’ve made the difficult decision to reset the game and start fresh on Monday.
All affected members have been notified via a notice on their homepage. We’ve also included a questions section below to answer any questions you may have.
As a gesture of an apology, when the game relaunches on Monday we will be doubling the prize pot!
We will be increasing the number of prizes per day from 5,974 to 8,699. And an additional 1,000 prizes over the value of £1 including 88 more £100 prizes. This means more people will be able to win bigger prizes!

I saw a prize before the game was paused - will I still receive it?
Since we’re resetting the Summer Treats game (launching Monday), we’re unable to honour any prizes or prize draw entries that appeared before. This decision wasn’t taken lightly - we carefully considered several options and ultimately decided that starting afresh and doubling the prize pot would be the fairest way to move forward for everyone involved.
I was already playing - what will happen to the prize draw entries I've collected?
To ensure the fairest experience for all members, the game will be fully reset, launching Monday. This means everyone - whether playing before the pause or joining now - begins with the same opportunity to win. We understand this may be disappointing, but fairness has been our top priority throughout.
Why didn’t you just award the prizes that were shown?
We explored multiple options and took time to weigh the impact on our members, our team and ability to run the game again with our planned improvements, and our platform as a whole. The prizes displayed totalled around 75 times the originally intended amount - which unfortunately made awarding them all unfeasible. At the same time, we felt a small goodwill gesture wouldn’t properly rectify the issue either. After careful reflection, we concluded that a complete restart - combined with a significantly increased prize pot - was the best and fairest path forward. Will there be any compensation for the disruption? We understand that the disruption may have been disappointing, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience it caused. As a gesture of our appreciation, and to thank you for your patience, we’ve more than doubled the total prize pot in the relaunched Summer Treats game. Most of the extra value has been added to the £1 and above prizes, giving everyone a greater chance to win something more rewarding.
What reassurances are there that the game is properly fixed / this won't happen again?
We completely understand why you'd want reassurance, and we've taken this very seriously. Since identifying the issue, our technical team has thoroughly investigated the root cause and implemented a fix to the game’s interface to prevent it from happening again. We've also introduced additional checks and testing procedures to catch similar issues early and protect the integrity of the game moving forward. Our goal is to make sure the game is fun, fair, and rewarding, and you can trust that we’ve done everything we can to ensure a smooth experience from here on out.
