Like many others, I get to the last page and then there is an error and the order is not posted. I inquired with TCB and they said that "We did have a number of members enquire who were unable to complete wholly online a couple of month's ago.
The advice that we have been given is that if a transaction fails with them for members to then open a new Best Buy account and please ensure the details are correct when completing the transactions i.e. delivery and billing address are the same, as this could cause the transaction to fail.
Unfortunately, if you cannot complete your transaction wholly online it will not be eligible for cashback."
TCB - I followed your advice and set up another account and also tried another website- but even this does not work - It really feels like Bestbuy does not want to process transactions going through cashback sites.
TCB - can you assist?

another con... 3 months and yet still pending..not even confirmed let alone paid... whilst Best Buy as a company may be thirfs with pitiful excuses... Topcashback must assume some responsibility for still having them on their website given their non existence performance... unfortunately losing confidence in Topcashback for allowing these sort of companies to be on their website

Horrible cashback experience. Never got tracked. Complaint to topcashback, they have sent request to bestbuy but already 2 months down the line, never got any reply. Hopeless and never buy from this website! Their prices are higher, often give high cashback but never gurantee you'll get it....

My advice is do not use this merchant. Both of my cards were declined inexplicably. My bank confirmed payment had been made, Bestbuy said they had declined the payment which has now gone into a holding account at my bank and I need to contact them to get it back. All in all, a right mess and several lengthy phonecalls to try to sort the matteer out. Given other adverse comments, tcb should decide to remove this merchant from the site. Yes, the topcashback seems attractive, but 'all that glistens is not gold'.

Site still won't let me place an order with any of my credit/debit cards which work fine elsewhere. Since I last tried to order from them in January, I've ordered laptops and TVs from Dixons, Amazon and Tesco with no problems. Each time I speak to Best Buy they come up with a different excuse - Best Buy really are crap!

Tried repeatably to buy a tv and blue ray player but the transaction would not complete. Advised their customer service dept who say they have never received any complaints re their site before. I can not beleive this especially after reading all the negative comments re this site. Never had problems like this before. I regulary buy high cost items off Comet Currys etc with no problems,but was attracted by the 10% cash back offer, but what is the point advertising this if they do not honour their cashback. They seem to be deliberately ignoring the problem. Top cash back should remove them from their site as they are falsely advertising a cash back offer that simply does not exsist.

Tried to order and it failed with three differnet cards even tried a neww card with a new account no luck, always fails after passing visa or mastercard verification.
Did ask them why and they claimed I had failed security, checked with card issuers and there was no problem verification worked. They did suggest ringing to place order umm!??!
In the end bought from boots not such good cashback but worked and got a better machine for almost sme price.

My experience with this retailer was not very good. Order was scheduled for a specific day, I waited in all day, phoned Best Buy and DHL, they said wait until 9pm; at great inconvenience I waited all evening, but no delivery. Waited again the next day and it eventually arrived that afternoon. Re customer service - I certainly didn't get the impression that they cared whether I went away a happy customer or not (answer: not). And to top it off, cashback didn't track.

I usually don't write comments but I thought I do for them. I took the plunge after reading all these comments, and ordered Fridge Freezer on Tuesday Night when it was showing on stock, and it was delivered at 8:am on Thursday Morning (had a call from CS on Wed, and Delivery man called on half an hour before delivery). This has to be one of the best ever buy for me in terms of prices and delivery (same one cost at least £100 more on other shops as well as the fact you need to wait at least 7 days or so). Cash back has been tracked so will see what happens.

ordered a xbox 360 for £299 which is more expensive than usual but attracted to cashback of 10%. so its the cheapest among all after cashback. But it never got tracked after a week, contacted topcashback and now the inquiry has been sent to best buy, still no cashback tracked. Very disspointed and lousy tracking...not sure if they even genuine about giving these cashback....not going to buy from them anymore..and hope you too. BEWARE!

Transaction failed to complete on 18/1/11 using topcashback. As others have said after credit card details are entered and verified the transaction then produces an error message. I have never experienced this problem before.

Waste of my time!
Have spent the last few days trying to buy a camera and accessories, but all I keep getting are problems with completing my order.
All I can see is that Best Buy have co**ed it up by offering a cash back that they cannot adhere too.
Well the cashback offer finishes tomorrow, what's the betting that my order would complete after tomorrow, well I won't find out as they aint getting my money now.
I'm off to a company that honours their offers!!

Service is awful. If you have a problem, expect to wait 20 minutes to get through to someone on the phone.
2 months after cancelling an order, my debit card was debited by Best Buy by over £1000. 4 days later they tried to do the same - luckily my card company stopped them.
I have since tried to resolve the issue, but nobody at all calls back!
If you shop with them, after reading this, you must be mad! Don't be blinded by the cashback - it's not worth it!

I've had the same experience as others - refusal of all my credit cards which work fine elsewhere. I spoke to their customer services who agreed they'd been receiving many calls from unhappy potential customers and blamed their anti-fraud system which appears to be having problems in that it blocks some genuine customers for no apparent reason. They deny it's to do with coming from a cashback site but I'm not so sure!

I recently ordered a laptop for a Christmas present and arranged for delivery for Wednesday 22nd December.
Without informing me, BestBuy changed the delivery date to Wednesday 29th December, which is no good for a Christmas present.
I did not realise the change until they did not deliver and contacted them. They basically accused me of lying until I provided them with the screen print taken at point of order.
Customer Services agreed to cancel order, however I received an e-mail on 28th December advising me that they'd despatched the goods and taken payment. Contact them and, again, they accused me of lying until I insisted that they listen to the recording of my previous call. Advised that it would take 5 days to return the funds that they shouldn't have taken in the first place.
Please note that BestBuy is owned/operated by Carphone Warehouse, which probably explains the awful Customer Service. Will never use again.
