Ordered portable harddrive during sale with £20 off price (making it comparable to cheapest available elsewhere online) and 20% cashback. Paid with credit card without any problems (seems to work for relatively low value items - £50 in my case) and cashback tracked very quickly. Had to wait a week for free delivery slot to be available but item arrived as promised and is in full working order. Yet to see if cashback will ever reach payable status!

My recommendation.....don't go anywhere near Best Buy. Strung along for a month after making my order in December, told it was out of stock and due to come back in and then it was automatically cancelled. An absolute farce and I'm furious, given the VAT rise and the end of sales. If I was told immediately it was never in stock I would of gone elsewhere. Beware of these cowboys!

Order placed successfully and approved by my credit card company so everything set in place for Best Buy to send the items and take the payment. However, on the due delivery date I was told that the order had been cancelled, so no product, suffered costs of installation as person was booked in for the following day to fit the system and experienced awful customer service - was told 8 times that someone would phone me back and still haven't received a phone call after 1 week. NEVER EVER EVER RELY ON BEST BUY TO FULFIL AN ORDER - I was told that someone at head office decided to block my order but have not been told why - maybe it's to do with paying 20% cashback through TopCashback. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR ATTRACTIVE CASHBAC RATES.

Brought TV for xmas. Didnt track and cash back tell me that it was paid to someone else so I am not entitled. other item purchased through this website is still pending even though it is supposed to be paid at the end of month.. Poor service guys.

Pray nothing is wrong with the item you ordered. Microwave returned 15th Dec after many costly calls (with no one phoning back despite countless promises). Over a month on still no refund and again no one taking expressibility to arrange, despite me having all order and return paperwork as requested. £40 out of pocket and with ever increasing phone bill (don't talk to me about the hours on the phone) As for e-mailing them with there "give you an answer in 1 day" they obviously work to a different time zone and calendar to the rest of us?

Ok so the cashback ends tomorrows, like jani i have tried to purchase the same product, mine get through, completed order and the tracking is fine. However seeing so many people having problems with your order i think probabaly is because you try to use a credit card, i did mine using a debit card. The payback date has shown to be 28th Feb, and is an estimate date, so cannot say anything more until it arrive that day. Hopefully TCB could do something about it!

Complete waste of time!!!!! Tried to buy a Canon 550D, like the others went upto the payment part and card got declined used another cards but kept on declining. Called Customer services got told my address has been blocked for 24 hours. Tried 36 hours later---- no joy. Asked my friend and then my family members to buy it for me and get it delivered to their address but guess what happened..................................................... All of them got declined!!!! If it is 20% discount you are looking for, you are not going to get it here..

Per many other reviews best buy refuse to process my tv purchase. Tried many times always failing after the credit card has been verified. Checked with credit card company and there are no problems there. Having successfully ordered before xmas it looks like they are preventing any 20% cashback sells going through!!!!!

Like other's have found, the 20% cashback was too good to be true. The order was refused after it had been through credit card authorisation. Only buy from this company if the price is the lowest without cashback because cashback isn't guaranteed and I doubt if anybody will actually get it even if it has tracked.

SCAMMERS.. bought tv on sale for 350, (cashback approx 50 so tv would be 300).. next day tv went up to 370, and instead of charging me 350 (i copied the screen shot confirmation order) they charge 370. i complained, they asked for photos...sent phots 300kb they said it was 10MB so couldnt see it...online customers services are liars ... they then sent back an email saying thanks for your request and we have updated price to 370!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! customer services on phone were not much better The cashback although tracked is taking ages to materialise into real money!!!!.. DONT BUY from them unless you want to RISK it

Sadly BestBuy are not taking ownership of the problem that many are experiencing when attempting to purchase only to find that the purchase failed or that they claim "the card was not authorised due to past fraudulent experiences" I tried with 2 different cards - got into arguments with card providers , had cards replaced and still did not get satisfaction - seems that it is possible that once failed there is a 30 day block put on customers which means that we miss out on ongoing discounts - obviously Bestbuy think we will return drawn by their "great discount deals" .... well not me after this! Possibly my worst ever purchasing experience simply because BestBuy insist it is not their problem "it is the your card providers" plus they don't respond to emails

BestBuy are an absolute joke and other should be aware of their website taking orders even though the goods aren't in stock. I wait ages for a laptop, found the right one and went through TCB for the cashback. The transaction was tracked but the goods were never delivered even though I specified the day and took a day off for it, there was no phone call or email before hand. I raised a complaint and their customer services didn't even apologise, so VAT has now increased, the sales are finished with other websites and the cashback period is due to end and I don't have a laptop! I am fuming about this and how and why their website accepts orders even though the goods aren't in stock.

Don't bother. Tried ordering using 6 different cards and every time failed security authorisation, not only that but funds deducted from credit limit until cancelled by Best Buy. Appalling customer service on a premium rate number obviously and that's when you could actually get through. Don't worry, they won't be around long. Either a whole load of technical issues, or worse, just a big con.

Still no joy with online order coming to the conclusion that BestBuy prevent online ordering from cash back sites during sale time 100% con and please avoid. Tried since 2nd Jan 2011 to order online with failed attempts no issue with payment card as placing orders with other online retailers no problem. BestBut customer service please address this and reply to the forum.

On 27 Dec I ordered a home speaker system. Delivery was charged at £4.95, despite the shopping basket page suggesting it was free. But the order went through without problems, and delivery through DHL - with tracking - was very good, and the package arrived on the day arranged. Sadly, there is no sign of the purchase on TCB, and so I have submitted a claim. TCB certainly recorded the times and dates of my visits to Best Buy, as these were displayed in the course of my claim submission. So full marks to TCB, full marks to DHL, but the whole point of shopping through TCB is to get the cashback!

Best Buy is a bunch of cheaters..have tried 5 times to place a home delivery order for a Sony Camera NEX-5 but at the last stage of the payment process it fails. Never has my credit card ever declined and has enough credit limit to pay 5 of their employees. Best Buy think if they are not making enough profit of an article, then stop taking orders through top cash back..what a bunch of jokers..pity them. will never buy anything from this retailer again..

Rubbish as its been impossible to place an order. When veryfying credit card details the site just says 'try again later' and the order doesn't go through. Tried several times and have no problems with other sites. Amateurs, who won't stay in business for long.

How can anyone give 6 stars in a review when they are complaining that TCB did not track their purchase. That is a major fault as far as I am concerned, and we need the star system to more accurately flag that there is a problem, by filling in correctly.
