As others have said this is a con. They are trying to hook people in with an amazing cashback rate, which has ranged from 10-20% in recent months. The % is way higher than any other electrical retailer. There is a reason for this - margins. Some TV/Hifi/Computer/Apple products don't retail with a 20% margin, so if they gave you this cash back they would be making a loss. So instead of offering a realistic cashback rate they maintain their ridiculous high rate and resort to one of the following tatics... a) Hit and miss tracking b) Website blocks transaction completing and gives telephone number instead (no cashback) c) For cashback that has tracked - no-one has been paid out yet. I have had £52 tracked from Best Buy since early November, no movement at all. I have tried over 30 times to order a Panasonic TV via TCB or QC at 15% or 20%, the website always says the order could not be processed. I try different computers, different web browsers, different credit/debit cards - all the same result. If they gave me this cashback they would be selling £100 cheaper than any other site, which obviously they don't want to do. This shouldn't be allowed. Other retailers clearly state different rates for different product categories and Best Buy should be forced to do the same as well. If they don't want to give 20% on TVs they should put up a real rate, eg 3% like everyone else (DSG, Tesco etc). What I would say is that when I ordered back from them in Nov, the service was fine. Their website worked and the item was delivered on time. Cashback tracked very quickly. But having discovered the con they a pulling with the cashback I have no faith that I will every receive the £52.

Steer well clear of this lot. I wasted time ordering only to have my order declined at the final stage. This happened on three separate ocassions. Avoid them at all costs!!!

Disappointed so far. Ordered washing machine on 7th Jan, expecting 15% cashback. It tracked quickly (the next day), but only registering an amount corresponding to 5%! Have raised an enquiry but has been put on ice until 15th (in case the cashback is upgraded in meantime). And now the cashback offer has gone up to 20%!! Made the error of hoping for the cashback and going with Best Buy - Bennetts Electrical was cheaper without the cashback.

Over the past 24 hrs I have tried to purchase an item from this website. On not being able to purchase the item (as described by many other customers) I have called their customer services. They were apologetic and advised that because of a massive amount of fraud experienced by their company in the run up to xmas and early new year they are being extremely strict on on-line purchasing i.e if card address does not match account address etc it will not go through. Additionally I was also advised that after 1 unsuccessful attempt to order I must wait 24 hours before trying to order again as the account would be locked. Hope that this helps others in trying to purchase.

Tried to buy 2 different TVs but there is always a problem with the card or they just cant process my order... complete scam. Looking at other similar comments it seems Besy Buy do NOT offer cashback on TVs through this website.

WASTE OF TIME I too found that my credit card was rejected, even after I had called the credit card company to confirm the purchase. The only other company I have ever had this problem with is Carphone Warehouse...who just happen to be 50% owners of Best Buy UK.

Complete scam. Went all the way through the order and then at the payment page it did not accept my credit card. Tried twice and no success. The same issue with other users. Won't try to buy stuff from there again. Bought from AMAZON instead. Topcashback should review the comments regarding this merchant!

I fell victim to this too. Giving them my personal details, card details and then the payment "failing" and being replaced with a phone number to complete a cashbackless transaction. Clearly cashback is only available on expensive products. Shame on TCB for permitting this scam.

Tried to purchase a TV. will not process the order via cashback link. have been trying for past week. Dont waste your time ringing the customer services as each one has a different story from scams, to being new to this country to the card provider. have checked with both the credit/debit cards visa and mastercard and on one occasion was on the phone to them whilst making another purchase. a complete waste of time.

Anything but "best". Will never use this retailer again, thanks to poor (i.e. non-existent) customer service, an inability to deliver on the chosen delivery date and for choosing a carrier who actually seems incapable of carrying out deliveries. Avoid.

I have tried to order twice from here, both times it initially said stock available for home delivery. i ordered an Ipad & a Macbook. Also had Tom Tom Start in my basket along with other items,when I got to checkout it changed to store pick up (I live in Scotland) & wouldn't accept tom tom discount code. Called customer services & listened to music for 20+ minutes then GAVE UP! Wouldn't recommend!

Hi like many others i have tried to order a sony tv. After putting all details in and taken through to card authorisation page, the payment fails even though there is enough funds in. Tried twice on my card and once on my husbands. Same thing everytime. Maybe it doesnt want to give the 10% discount code and the cashback. Not happy. It would probably work if i just went through best buy.

Best Buy has some problem with their website which does not allow you to actually buy anything through a cashback website it seems. I've had the same problem with another cashback site. Not impressed with Best Buy at all

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. SPENT AGES CHOOSING GOODS THEN FOUND OUT THAT NO DELIVERY OPTION WAS AVAILABLE FOR ONE OF THE ITEMS, THEN FOUND NEAREST STORE WAS 35 MILES AWAY AND, FINALLY, THE ITEM WAS NOT IN STOCK. DON'T BOTHER!!!

Update to previous post. Maybe all the negative comments (and at another cashback site) including phone calls to Best Buy customer services have had a result? Because I have just been able to complete my order for the Samsung TV LE40C580. Let's hope it tracks shortly otherwise I shall be cancelling the order.

Rubbish, like previous comments, fails to complete on last payment page. Tried to purchase Samsung TV LE40C580 3 or 4 times last night. Got a call this morning at 8:30 from my credit card security department as they could see I tried numerous times to buy. Suggested I try again as there is no problem at their end, but guess what still no joy. Best Buy if you are reading this you need to do the right thing as you are at my bottom of list for future purchases

Tracked correctly within a few hours. Laptop could not be found cheaper anywhere else, even before cashback was taken into account, so this is potentially an excellent find.
