The fact they offer value policies seems to be a popular reason why our members decide to provide positive feedback having purchased home insurance from Aviva. One reviewer says they have used Aviva “many times for all insurance purchases”, while others state they have been happy with their “competitive home insurance”.

On the whole, members are also pleased with how quickly their cashback tracks and pays out, with comments including “paid out on time, tracked on time. Why can’t other merchants be like this?”, “this must be the easiest thing I have ever done - taken out home insurance and got cashback at the same time” and “just take out a policy and TopCashback do the rest”. Another of our members says their cashback was logged very quickly, confirmed and made available to them exactly when they said it would.

Aviva.co.uk has only a one-star rating on Trustpilot, though you will find many four and five-star reviews which lavish them with praise, with customers saying things like “I really like Aviva as they helped me all the way”, “quick, courteous and also the cheapest cover each time” and “every time I have dealt with Aviva they have done everything that the policy says they should do, with no issues”.

Their call centre staff are also praised for being knowledgeable and polite when resolving issues, while someone who says they have used Aviva for three years commends them on their great customer service. One customer highlights the fact that they reported the loss of a £4,000 ring at 9.30am and by 10am had received an email confirming the full amount, minus the £100 excess, was to be paid to replace it from the store it was purchased from.

Orignally tracked correctly on purchase made in March 2011 for £60.01 ,Then in May a triplicate of 3 amounts tracked , notified Topcashback of problem and was told it was corrected back to the correct amount of £60.01 and that it was system fault, Payable at the end of July, now cashabck amount has reduced to zero as of 7/08/2011. So with zero cashaback after 5 months our home insurance works out more expensive than our orignal renewal with our original insurer. Never use Aviva again and dissapointed with Top Cashback too ...

This originally tracked a day after I purchased my home insurance. Then 3-months later it went from Pending to £0.00 payable!!!!!!! NOT GOOD AVIVA. I have since put in a claim which TCB have assisted with. But it is on ice due to the 4-month period. Don't buy your home insurance based on the cash back.

well another month has been and gone,still no sign of the £65 cashback from february purchase,let alone that it might be paid.looks like it's going to be an even longer drawn out, unhappy saga.Might get somewhere in time for next renewal!!! LOL.

Purchased policy to start 30th April. Cashback received today 1st August. With any cashback, there is a worry, but always great service from TopCashBack and this year excellent quotation premium from Aviva (including free contents) and this £65.00 cashback!

Well I am new to this cashback game, so far made two significant purchases with well known suppliers, Aviva home insurance being one of them. Neither have shown up after several days so I have had to raise claims for them. Yet when I go to raise claims the topcashback system seems to accurately remember when I did the purchases, so maybe I am doing something wrong. Both claims have gone 'on ice' until some time months in the future before anything further will happen. I'm afraid I will reserve judgement on the service until I see it actually work for me. not getting many hopes up yet.

I only went through top cashback last night to purchase arivea home insurance. Already I have had quality service from arriva and top cashback. I will most definately look to get insurance from them again. Thanks very much.

Applied for quote yesterday, it was the cheapest I had found by about £5.00. The extra £60.60 cashback means that it was the absolute best price. Tracked today, less than 24 hours later. So far so good!!

my insurance quote was about same price as my other insurer but the £60.60 cash back was a good incentive to change, the cash back tracked very quickly but is still not confirmed after a month it should be payable october i hope so

purchase didnt track,although premium came out sharpish.,so got in touch with TC,they insisted on putting it" on ice"for 6 months,before chasing(god knows why).I was prepared to wait for cashback for the required period ,but transaction should track regardless of that.Its now finally been sent to Aviva affiliates,note says it could take several months to be resolved,if at all.terrific!unlikely to be using AVIVA again.

The cashback offered seemed very generous but only now (thanks to TopCashback's intervention) has it tracked - the policy was taken out in January! I am concerned reading previous posts that I still may not get it. I don't think I would buy from Aviva again unless the premium was competitive without taking the cashback into consideration. They are just too much hassle!

Tracked after 3 hours as £60.60 cashback, Insurance renewal quote from LLoyds TSB insurance for combined building/contents was £320, but the Aviva was £146 for building with free contents insurance... A MASSIVE SAVING! (if I get the cashback) an even bigger saving.

Aviva were just under £100 cheaper than my renewal notice for home and contents insurance for the same cover. If I get the promised £60 cashback after 4 months, I'll be quids in! Shame we have to wait so long....

Cripes, no wonder these guys are not on price comparison sites. EVEN with online the discount and taking into account £50 cashback, their quote still at least 25% higher. Disappointing, probably paying Mr Whitehouse too much for the TV Ads.

As a newbie I am still fingins out how to obtain teh cash back and therefore having none to date feel that 3* is appropriate. If anyone can help it would be appreciated to save me wading through the jungle.The rest of the service is great.
