Another one of our members says the cashback offered made taking out AA breakdown value for money, while others state their cashback was paid out within the timeframe or had tracked within minutes of making a purchase, with one commenting: “Not the first time I have used TCB (TopCashback) with AA - 100% record, no issues.”

Customers leaving reviews on Trustpilot, where they have a three-star rating, praise them for being prompt and careful, as well as attending call-outs and fixing problems quickly, with one saying they “never failed to impress”.

Someone describes how they had only called for advice about an issue and the AA sent someone out to fix the problem, while another says their car was back on the road within 40 minutes of calling for assistance. Another positive seems to be the fact that membership gives you discounts, while you can gain access to offers via the website.

Purchased 9months ago and still no cashback. It tracked straight away but after couple of months it changed to £0.00. Contacted the topcashback, but no joy. Cover itself is worth the money but you are unlikely to see any cashback. Avoid.

Just lodged my claim (5th Sep.) Ordered on 20th Aug and no sign of anything tracking. I'll report back if anything changes but based on other comments I'm not holding my breath!

The cashback was not automatically registered, therefore I had to post a claim in order to get the cash back. This is now happening but has taken about 6 weeks so far to process.

This is a really good deal, been loking at car cover for ages and this is a great level of cover for the price. Somne of the third party insures offer lower prices but when you look at the small print they will tow 10 miles then charge you forevery other mile you are away from home..

Told from TCB that because I queried the cashback in the first place (it didn't track immediately) I cannot raise another support ticket because The AA have declined and reduced the amount payable to £0. Not impressed. Will not use the AA again.

A year on with NO cashback from TOPCASHBACK. Contacted AA and they stated topcashback were withholding any form of refund and not the AA. Also NO contact from TCB overs 9 months reguarding this claim

Beware - not only did the cashback not track (yet all other sites I've used have tracked fine), but when I tried to cancel within the 14 day cooling off period (because it didn't track and I'm not confident I'll ever see the cash back) they then informed me there was a £20 administration fee for cancelling (is this even legal?).

The whole experience was terrible. No email confirmation received for more than 24 hours, didn't track in top cash back (everything else reliably tracks for me), AA Customer Services didn't reply to my email. I too only took out this breakdown cover because of taking the £50 into account. Top Cashback have said it could take months to get a decision - AA Breakdown member pack arrived a few days ago which means I've got less than 30 days to cancel. I will be ringing the AA and cancelling- and I will tell them it's because of this.

After reading a lot negative reviews about AA cashback, I was a little aprehensive that I would receive any cashback. I am pleased to say that the whole process has been excellent and I've received my cashback 6 weeks ahead of the estimated payable date. It seems the AA have up'd their game and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

Woeful. Didn't track initially. Was then added following a claim, but has now been declined. It is showing as payable but at £0. Wish I had read other reviews first.

Transaction tracked very quickly in February, but the amount has just been changed to £0.00 - it's well over 100 days since I bought the policy, so I've got to jump through a whole new set of hoops to get the cashback. Wouldn't use the AA again.

This did not immediately track. I chased it through Topcashback and the expected amount appeared. However, the amount payable has gone down to £0. It is 84 days since I made the purchase, BUT 100 days since I first visited their site, therefore nothing can be done. Not illegal, but pretty underhand. DO NOT EXPECT CASHBACK from the AA

Great deal with cash back cheaper than renewal. Bit disapointed can only pay by automatic renewel on debit card. Direct Debit option not available and in my experience when it does come to cancel renewal difficult to get through to cancelation department with the AA.

Didn't hold out much hope of it tracking and the AA and Topcashback didn't fail to fulfil my expectations. Think it is very poor to keep offering cash back for a Merchant that has failed to pay out so many times over such a long period of time. Very poor customer service from all concerned and very misleading for new customers to Topcashback.
