Tia Rescue

For over ten years, Tia Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue has been committed to rescuing and rehoming stray, abandoned and ex-racing greyhounds and lurchers. We operate a 'no kill' policy believing that no animal should be put to sleep because a home cannot be found immediately or because veterinary treatment may be too expensive.

We fund three research centres in the UK, including St Thomas' in London, St Mary’s in Manchester and the recently established Royal Infirmary in Edi

Treating Autism

Raising awareness amongst parents, carers and professionals of the medical issues commonly associated with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. We believe many children with autism are medically ill and when these needs are properly assessed and appropriately treated these children can and do improve in health, behaviour and quality of life, both for the individual and the family unit.

Trees for Life

The Caledonian Forest once covered over 1.5 million hectares of the Scottish Highlands. Today just 1% of the forest remains, and species such as the beaver, wild boar and lynx have gone. The surviving remnants of the forest are ageing and fragmented, struggling to regenerate because of overgrazing. Now it's up to us to ensure the survival of this ancient and remarkable woodland. It's Scotland's equivalent of the rainforest and it urgently needs our help. Learn more about the Caledonian Forest
