World stores (Mattress World), are a rip off. Used these to buy a mattress earlier this year as with the cashback they were cheaper than anyone else. Just before delivery I was emailed to say order had been cancelled. When I called to find out why they said it was a mistake and reinstated the order. The mattress was delivered on the day requested without a problem, but then the cashback (nearly £30) went to zero. After 5 months of chasing they have used the excuse that 'another channel was used as the last reference point before sale'. In other words, by cancelling and reinstating the order they get out of paying cashback. Will not use these con artists again!

All I can say is STAY AWAY from any of the World Stores websites..!! Not only have they not paid the commission due via TopCashBack, but they sent me a chest of drawers with two big pallet-truck holes in the back, which they had covered with packaging...!! Their subsequent 'Customer Service' was amongst the worst I have ever come across and I came very close to starting legal recovery proceedings against them.... They would not respond to e-mails, or phone when they said they would, and kept failing to turn up with the replacement or to collect the damaged item. They eventually collected this with 1 hour to spare, but they have still not confirmed or resolved the credit/payment.
You have been warned, but good luck if you do use them.

Found a good offer on a dining set I couldn't find anywhere else. Very fast delivery, great service and rate of cashback. Took quite a while for cb to become payable but no prompting required.

I brought 2 mattresses arived late,wet and with wholes, had my order re-delivered, and now been trying to chase up my cash back but they wont pay out as they messed up, even though i still got my order i miss out wouldnt buy from again.

Bought a mattress a couple of months ago, Worldstores cocked up the order. The customer service rep cancelled it by mistake then re-ordered it. I had to call a couple of times to make sure the mattress would actually turn up. Then they refused cashback because the original order had been cancelled by them by mistake.

I ordered a Futon from Worldstores although the item is of good quality it was damaged when delivered. Firstly they were meant to get in touch with me to organise delivery, but instead left it with the neighbours who had nowhere to put it. They left it outside open to the elements and where someone could actually steal it. Secondly the product was damaged which was not their fault, but it took four times of pestering them with emails and phone calls and five weeks to replace the damaged item. Finally they have not come up with the cash back. This company should not be able to trade on TCB.

Brought a bed from this website about a month ago. Bed came broken So we arranged a collection.
They did not come until 2 weeks later to collect the bed which was a right pain. Once the bed was collected we thought we would get refunded. A day later they emailed us saying they DID NOT HAVE the bed and that the collection did not take place!!!
Terrible experience and an awful customer service AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

After months of waiting for my cashback and several nudges i was told by top cashback that the outcome of my transaction was "another marketing channel was credited with the sale" What a load of rubbish, a bad feeble excuse from world stores....AVOID THEY DONT WANT TO PAY

No cashback paid - used the "Another marketing channel was credited with the sale" excuse. This is disappointing because this is the second time this has happened to me (a different merchant the first time) and this one with WorldStores has actually cost me money. If I had ordered directly from the merchant (whose product, service and delivery were excellent, I have to say), my order would have cost me a few pounds less, but going through TCB the cashback would have taken it below that amount. TCB suggested that it might be an issue with cookies, but I use TCB regularly and apart from these two occasions I have not had any problems getting my cashback. Could some merchants be using the "Another marketing channel was credited with the sale" message as a ploy to avoid paying?

Worldstores is a company that offers really nice furniture and has a good offer on casback. Unfortunately if you need to deal with their customer services, you are in for a bad experience because the customer assistants have no communication skills and you'll end up spending money calling the customer service centre trying [in vain] to rectify things. My suggestion is - if ANYTHING goes wrong with the order just ask for money back.
My problem started when the delivery day chosen by me had to be moved. I got an email from Worldstores and had to email them back that the day they were suggesting was not good for me. I got a call from customer services asking what day would be good and we made an agreement. THE SOFA ARRIVED ON THE DAY PREEMPTED BY WORLDSTORES AND NOT NOT THE ONE AGREED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR.
On the day when I was actually waiting for the sofa to be delivered, I got a call from Worldstores that I was not there when they attempted a delivery.... Sufficient to say that it was not the only time when one spoke to a customer assistant and then it turned out that he or she could not take the simplest of messages.
By the way the delivery men were complete idiots - they started the delivery from the smallest items which turned out to be a complete disaster as they damaged my door. Had they started with the largest item they would have realised there was no point in trying to get the sofa into my flat.

Service was very fast but when I opened the packaging (which was intact with no damage) the first piece of the furniture was badly damaged i.e large chunk chipped off the corner - not a good start and very disappointing!! Although the rest of the pieces were not damaged the quality was not brilliant. On contacting the company to report the damaged piece I was told I would have to photograph it and send the picture via email, to which I objected and refused to do - did they think I was lying or worse still, not trust my judgement!! I was told I would have to wait a minimum of two weeks for a replacement piece until I pointed out this was unacceptable, after all they already had my money!! They then agreed to send a replacement part which arrived two days later - I might add I had no advance warning of delivery, they rang to inform me on the day of delivery meaning I had to put other arrangements on hold until delivery at 4.45pm that day. Although the quality of goods was disappointing and shoddy I kept the item as it was half price and only needed in a spare room, therefore not on display for all to see. I will think twice before ordering a flat pack again if this is the standard of quality I can expect to receive in the future.

AFter several emails telling me my orders were to be delivered tomorrow, I had a phone call tonight saying it would be another few days instead. I, like most employed people, cannot afford another day off to wait for a delivery. Very angry at poor customer service and cancelled my order
