In August we bought two Bridgestone tyres from Tyre Shopper which came with a free 'guarantee'. Last week one of these tyres suffered a puncture when my wife was driving. As soon as she realised something was wrong she pulled over as soon as it was safe to do so. She took the tyre back to National Tyres who had fitted them. They told her she would have to contact Tyre Shopper regarding the guarantee and with 7mm of tread left she ought to get a replacement tyre for around £15. We contacted Tyre Shopper last week and were told they would have to speak to National Tyres and would call us back. A week later we had heard nothing so contacted Tyre Shopper again. They said they had spoken to National Tyres but it was not possible to determine why the tyre had failed as it had been driven on after it suffered the puncture, therefore the guarantee was invalid. The moral here is that if you have a ‘guaranteed’ tyre from Tyre Shopper you must stop the very instant a puncture occurs wherever you are! Alternatively just buy your tyres from a more honourable company……

I will not recommend these people at all. Absolutely ridiculous service from tyre-shopper.co.uk. Talked to you and fitting shop before ordering to make sure that I can receive same day tyres and service which you and fitting shop confirmed. you both kept me on waiting and waiting and after wasting my time you both just told me that you can not provide tyres. I was suppose to go out of city after getting this done. you people just have spoiled my plan and this is absolutely nonsense and irresponsible behaviour. you people are not professional and do not have infrastructure to provide service to online customer. I will recommend others NOT to buy any thing from you tyres-shopper.co.uk. very disappointed! 19APR2013 Its been more than 5days and no one reply to my any email and no one answering to the paypal messages. I contact tyre-shopper today and they said they can not refund because paypal is holding payment, As i said they are not professional and do not know how this paypal things work. I phone paypal regarding this matter and they confirmed that they certainly can do by responding the dispute or contacting paypal for straight refund. Its that simple but I know you people do not do your job properly. You people should not be on earth.

I ordered 3 tyres from Tyreshopper on 15 November for fitting at a nearby tyre center on 26 November. When I went to the tyre center, the center said that Tyreshopper had not delivered the tyres. I then called Tyreshopper. They said that the tyres were out of stock and they were on back order. No one had contacted me to let me know or suggest alternative in-stock tyres. When I complained about that, the call center operator at Tyreshopper said that they had called me on my mobile, land land and emailed me and even sent me a letter. They absolutely hadn't. I asked him what email address they supposedly emailed. The guy said Michael.Bohanna@ something or other. My name is not Michael and I have no phone messages, emails or letters from tyreshopper. When I told him that wasn't even my name or my email address, he still kept saying they had emailed me. They defintely had not. Tyreshopper did not make any effort to rectify the situation. It seemed as though the guy simply didn't care at all. I asked for a refund. He said that will take 3 to 5 working days. After wasting more than an hour of my time at the fitting center, and talking to an extremely unhelpful call center operative at Tyreshopper, I'd say that I would never try and buy from this company again.

Cashback didn't track and they used the get out clause of 'another merchant was credited with the sale' if your using for the cash back I'd look else where as these don't seem to pay even when it just a couple of quid.

Don't expec cashback ! Bought tyres in november, all tracked fine, but went to payable at £0.00. And now its greater than 100 days, so TCB won't help.

Rubbish. Confirmed transaction, would not pay after waiting 4 months and gave no reason. As claim took over 100 days topcashback would not help either!!! Cashback was the only difference in price compared to usual garage so what a waste of time

SCAM - same as others tracked , confirmed then after 100 days refused. Use another merchant - at least you might get some cashback !

Like many other, my purchase tracked cashback without a problem at £15 on 19th Oct 11. Then, for no reason on 23rd Feb 12, having moved from tracked to confirmed, it then went to payable but a £0. No obvious reason for this. The tyres have been paid for and fitted. Some users are suggesting this is a scam. Until I hear back from TopCashBack and this issue has been resolved, I would tread carefully - perhaps use a different merchant. I'm very disappointed!

Like the last two comments, I've had a 'confirmed' amount of cashback for ages from this merchant but today suddenly it went down to '0' with a blue exclamation icon next to it... Is there anything we can do?!

as per Geekoe below, what a farce. I've used them before (not through TCB) and found them to be fine but they seem to be scam artists regarding cashback - I ordered on the 29th October, got the tyres fitted a day or two later, now this morning after waiting nearly 4 months the "confirmed" amount of £14.67 has moved to £0 in the payable column and there are no specific reasons given as to why they've randomly decided it's not payable. As far as I can tell, they do this when they think you've only had a quote and not bought, but I can prove that I bought and had them fitted! I have a general support enquiry lodged with TCB to see if we can resolve this idiocy, as purchases made over 100 days ago cannot be resolved with a missing cashback claim (why not?) so this will be a good test of TCB and their customer service...

Terrible! Dont use these people. Scam artists. The product is fine (as they only act as a middle man to other outlets) The cashback tracking is not a problem, but when it come time to pay up, they cancel your cashback. What a complete scam!! I wouldn't bother counting on any cashback they might show tracking on your account as it wont be there by the time it come for them to pay up. They should be removed from Topcashback!

Tracked cashback without a problem. The cashback has been confirmed but zero rated. No obvious reason for this. The tyres have been paid for and fitted.

initially tracked correctly and quickly but now 3 weeks after having the tyres fitted my cashback has been confirmed but replaced with zero! not amused, wont be using these rip off merchants again. there was no reason at all to decline my cashback. in future i shall use black circle tyres.

This took over 5 weeks to track and only then because I raised an enquiry through Top cashback - but it came through at 3% not the 5% I was promised for the Continental tyres I purchased - Bad!

I found a discount code DC5ALL I had to call the number on the site to ask where to add this they were very unhelpful as were the live chat staff, I managed to find out how to do this myself, I would not recommend this company. See an email that I have sent to the MD Mike Bourne I am absolutely disgusted with the service that I have received from your company. You take my money online entering into a contract as per the sales of goods act I then receive an email asking me to contact your office to advise the tyres I ordered you can not supply after speaking to trading standards they have advised me that you were in breach of said contract. Your staff are very unhelpful. On my arrival at the fitting centre I was greeted by a very abrupt gentleman who said that u should of called first when I advised him that I had not been told that he began arguing with me. I will forward you my email sent to me by Rob Thompson. You really do need to look at your staff and tour suppliers. I will post a bad review about your company on every review site I can find I will also pursue this with trading standards both locally to me and in Manchester where you are based.

Although the service was good from National Tyres, Tyre Shopper failed to honour the cashback, incorrectly claiming TopCashback was not the site credited with sale. This seems a common get-out, so I will not be using them again. Why offer cashback, if unwilling to pay it!!

Bought 4 tyres in Dec 2012, but failed to track and merchant has not yet responded to manual claim. Would not recommend using if expecting cashback, but price was good and quality of service from fitters (National Tyres) was excellent.

I earlier commented that cashback after tracking correctly, suddenly after 3 months went to zero. I raised a feedback and all is now ok. So apart from the warning to watch your cashback, it all went ok.
