Big Bundles Give You More For Your Money

O2's Big Bundles tariffs are ideal if you use your phone a lot and are looking to get more for your money. The best bit is there is no contract, meaning you can just top-up the required amount for the data, calls and texts you require.

You have the choice of five Big Bundles, which range in monthly cost from £10 to £30 — all of which include free O2 Wi-Fi and access to O2 Priority offers. You can opt for as little as 2GB of 4G data, 250 minutes and 1,000 texts right through to 20GB of data and 3,000 minutes and texts. As an added bonus you might be able to benefit from promotions that could give you increased allowances for the first month of your contract.

• Call Abroad With International SIMS

  With O2's international free SIMS, you can make calls to mobiles and landlines abroad from as little as 1p per minute, while you will also receive O2 minutes, O2 texts and data.

  There are two options to choose from, each of which allows you to keep your credit and includes free O2 Wi-Fi and access to daily O2 Priority offers. For £10+ a month, you will receive 100MB of 4G data and 3,000 O2 to O2 texts, while for £15+ a month, you will benefit from 200MB of data, 3,000 O2 to O2 texts and 3,000 minutes for calls you make to people who also have an O2 number.

• It's Easy To Keep Your Existing Number

  If you are moving to O2 from another network, you will be able to keep your existing number, although before you can transfer, they will need your PAC.

  Once you have placed an order for your free O2 sim card and received your temporary number, you will just need to fill in the keep my number form. Forms sent by 5.30pm will be completed the next working day, while those sent after this time will be processed within two working days.

  You will then receive two text messages — one confirming the date of your switch and another to remind you on the day — while you will need to be in the UK when your number switches. On the day, your current SIM will lose signal and you will need to replace it with your new O2 SIM card. If you find you do not have an O2 signal, you will need to switch your phone off and on every few hours until you get one. If you still do not have a signal by 6pm, you should contact O2.

• Roll Your Data Over To The Following Month

  If you have a data Big Bundle tariff which includes O2's data rollover, when your data automatically renews, any you did not use the previous month will roll over — subject to their cap, which is double your usual allowance.

  You will then be able to use this during the next 30-day period. Unused data allowances will only roll over from one bundle to the next if your data Big Bundle renews on the same day your previous data Big Bundle expires. If you change the type of data Big Bundle, meanwhile, that you are opted into, or your data Big Bundle does not automatically renew, for example, if you do not have enough credit, your unused allowances will expire.
