Top Cash Back excellent once again... Product very good and a great discount, however the delivery company which is out sourced are very unhelpful and ask alot, especially when a single delivery driver who turns up with a mattress and asked to put it in the garage asked my 65 yr old mother in law to carry the other end of the mattress - he was not pleased when she said no. Not a pleasant end to a good purchse...

Buyers beware!! Bought a mattress from them in December 2014. Although the matteress has arrived on time I am still waiting for the cashback to come through. One of the reasons why I chose them was becasue they came up as a fast payer!!! I do not think I will purchase anything from them again.

Joke company ***Avoid***
Joke company. Placed an order and, on the morning of delivery, I got a text to say the mattress was 'undeliverable'. Courier said there is no mattress available to deliver as supplier did not provide it. Company blamed courier for mistake, courier said the company did not supply the mattress for delivery?!. I found this out just two hours before delivery about his mess as they both blamed each other. Mattress Online live chat said it was 'misplaced' and did nothing. AVOID

Mattress was meant to be firm but it was soft to lie on. We had bought it for our spare room for my MIL to sleep on whilst my FIL was in hospital. Because we had unwrapped it, mattress online refused to refund or replace it in fact they didn't care at all about what we did with it. I'm really disappointed and shall not be using them again and will certainly deter others from using them. I paid a premium for a mattress that was not as it was described at all.

Very poor quality "luxury" pillows, would hate to see the budget range. costs more to send item back than it's worth so just have to put down to experience but wouldn't use again or recommend

I have had the absolute worst experience I have ever had from an online store. These guys are utter cowboys and bring honest online traders into disrepute! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I ordered last Thursday PM a nice £500 mattress from their site based on their claim for next day promise as my family and I (8 month pregnant wife and 14 month old son) had just moved into a new apartment. As I had missed the 4PM slot they said they could only deliver it on Saturday between 8-12AM. This was fine. However on said Saturday around 11:30 I had still not heard from them and so i called them up to find out that the mattress had been misplace by their service provider panther delivery. I called another 5 times on that Saturday and was repeatedly told to wait at home as the delivery would be imminent (at one stage they even claimed the delivery man was at the premise! Come 5:30 PM though, nobody answered at customer support anymore. I had to stay with my pregnant wife and sister at my sisters on the sofa bed. On the Monday morning I wrote them an irate email asking them to come up with the goods and adequate compensation. By early afternoon I still hadn't heard form them so I called up and they said they'd -investigate-. when i still hadn't heard anything by 5PM on Monday (no call or email) I called them and was most upset. When I threatened them that I would sue them, believe it or not, the customer support manager Zoe hung-up in my face (!!) and followed up with this email: ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: MattressOnline Customer Service Date: Mon, Mar 30, 2015 at 5:57 PM Subject: Re: 260005 Hello Mr XX, First of all we would like to sincerely apologize for your delivery incurring problems, and would like to reassure you that this is not standard practice for Mattress online. Having recently made a purchase of a mattress and divan base from mattressonline the wrong base was delivered and the mattress gives of a strong chemical odour told to air for 2 weeks !! Rang customer service to lodge complaint to be given the run around by customer service not wanting to accept any form of responsibility . Argumentative rude very unprofessional in trying to resolve matters. Buyer beware comes to mind as when things go wrong this company will give you a hard time in gaining any form of resolution !!!!

I order 14 beds this year from these people, the last order was for 5 and I was expecting 5% cashback. One of the beds they delivered was defective, after a lot of emails and the threat of court action they offered to replace the bed. Fast forward 6 months,they closed the cashback claim and I'm £88 out of pocket. I'm not one very disapointed landlord!

I recently purchased a king-size mattress from mattressonline to replace my ageing Slumberland. The on-line description sounded great, the specification was good and the price was reasonable. Mattress was delivered and installed on my bed and was a HUGE disappointment - hard as a rock and in my opinion unusable. The comfort rating system used by mattressonline may be subjective and down to individual interpretation but what I received was unrecognisable from their description and comfort rating. Still needing to sleep, I searched their website and found the softest mattress on their rating system and ordered a replacement. I then contacted customer service to find if I could return the unused and unusable mattress to which the answer was yes. I naively thought that the delivery company would collect and return the unused mattress. I was informed this is NOT the case, they only deliver and would not collect. Undeterred, I tried to find a company that would collect and deliver the mattress back to mattressonline. I really struggled to find anyone who offers this service for king-size mattresses but eventually found a courier who promised to deliver but let me down at the last minute. I found another who agreed but failed to collect. Third time lucky I found a courier who collected and tried to deliver to mattressonline only to be turned away because the item was not delivered back within 14 days. I was not aware that mattresses had a 'best before' or 'sell by date' but I am obviously wrong. Mattressonline were kept informed of the situation and I have an extremely long email trail to prove it. Situation now is that the courier has a brand new unused mattress in storage that mattressonline refuse to accept back - I even offered to pay a handling fee but even this is not acceptable to them. I now either have to pay to have the mattress delivered back to me OR pay the courier to dispose of the mattress. I will never deal with this company again and I woul
