Only tracked for half the amount despite being a dual fuel purchase. Confirmed at half the amount, so the 'spiel' about it being 'uplifted' is cobblers, TCB are pocketing the other half.

Signed up for duel fuel and only paid for single fuel purchase. Upon reading other peoples comments seems this happens to most of us. Topcashback should not be working with retailers like this very disappointed. Also took m&S energy 4 months to complete my switchover. Would not recommend.

Second time I've been stitched up by M&S on Cashback. The first time it was £110, now it's £46 for dual fuel which didn't track and after nearly 6 months of waiting they've rejected my claim. TCB interestingly state that it was part of a group of transactions which were rejected for the same reason. TCB should stop them from offering Cashback, to me it's tantamount to being fraud by offering great incentives to join but failing to pay out. NOT HAPPY.

Thought I'd add a positive update as most people only post with negative feedback. Switched to m&s dual fuel in September. Tracked as single fuel initially which was as advised on the tcb site. This single fuel amount is payable as of this week - I reckon this is about 10 weeks since purchase. The additional payment for dual fuel is now showing as confirmed on my account. No complaints from me.

Switched to dual-fuel at end of Aug but failed to track. Logged a claim which was submitted at end of Sept.
First month of waiting for claim to be processed by M&S has passed....

Absolute waste of time. I applied for single fuel as was getting promotion cashback of £40 - didn't track at all, still hasn't and had open ticket with TCB for several months. Contacted M&S via their website, the took a week to give me a call just to say that they can't help and they don't know anything about TCB... Don't think i'll ever see my £40 :(

Now waiting to see if payment up grades to duel fuel.
On reading other comments not very hopeful.
Not hopeful of any cash back.

After 2 months it had not tracked so I used their online contact form with my complaint. A few days later it tracked and then today I see it has paid out. So I did not have to wait long! It looks as if they are trying to put right their bad press here by paying out early! At least, in my case :)

Like many others I also had the dreaded " cannot send you a confirmation email because of an error" even though email entered twice on their website. Phoned them the following day and they couldnt confirm whether it had gone through or not. Also said it would only be a single fuel and not dual fuel swap as Southern Electric with whom I'm with currently is part of SSE who runs M and S offer. Rang them a week later and the gas part is being sorted but no sign of any cash back. Have put in a claim and will wait with unbated breath for any result. Interestingly the offer was removed on TCB a few days after my appliction. Pity TCB hadnt removed it before.

The application that I made online did not go through successfully with small technical error from M&S, and they request us to call back M&S customer services. We have called back, and all sorted accordingly. However, the merchant still not trackable. The discount rate disappear after I click and submit my application online on 5th Oct. This is tricky. If I knew I'll use intermediate companies.

Not tracked. Also had the message when I confirmed the transaction that I needed to call them as they had an issue sending me an email. Now tbc seem to not offer cash back from m and s energy.

After 2 months it had not tracked. I noticed that the contract from M&S said "Verbal agreement on 5th" but I did it on line on the 3rd and never spoke to them. I posted a message to them via their website pointing out that the contract was incorrect and hoping that I would not be another complainer on TCB. Co-incidentally, a couple of days later, it tracked!!! They never replied. I still have to wait 5 months to see if I get the cash.

was going to buy the duel fuel but after reading 29 reviews saying no one has had any cash back don't think I will. I don't understand why top cash back keeps them on here if they never pay. Come on TCB sort it out! Cash back is your business and if merchants don't pay you should do something...

Like others I am sceptical of M&S's tactics. I received a message at the end of the sale process asking me to call an 0800 number as there was an error with my email address. I am sure there was no such error as I have since received two email messages confirming my switch. I suspect this is to avoid paying cashback as the sale will show as not completed "wholly online". Very poor, and if confirmed I will certainly cancel.

It seems that like many others my Top Cashback transaction cannot be traced by SSE, so no cashback. As my application was conducted purely through Top Cashback and the electricity was supplied from mid-January, I feel cheated. Avoid this merchant. Can M&S be aware of SSE's apparent malpractice? Puts me off other M&S services!
