Probably the worst accommodation booking site I have used. Made booking last August and had to submit claim early September. TCB submitted my claim to their agency in October and despite having sent 4 nudges since, still waiting on retailer to rely and process cashback. Have made numerous hotel bookings since then, but have used alternative suppliers instead.

I booked a hotel with Hotelopia but although the transaction showed jup on the Topcashback site, this company did not pay the cashback due and has declined my claim for missing cashback. This seems to be a common experience with this merchant. Avoid using them - there are other hotel booking sites that are not scams.

I BOOK HOTEL ROOMS ON A VERY REGULAR BASIS,NOT ALWAYS USING TOPCASHBACK.FOR EXAMPLE I HAVE USED KENWOOD TRAVEL AND DESTINOLOGY MANY MANY TIMES NEITHER OF WHICH ARE ON TOPCASHBACK.THE POINT IS ALTHOUGH HOTELOPIA SUPPLIED ME WITH A HOTEL AT A GOOD PRICE,THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE NOT PAID ME THE CASHBACK THAT THEY OWED ME HAS LOST THEM MY CUSTOM FOR GOOD.THE FACT THEY OFFER CASHBACK I PRESUME IS TO GENERATE MORE BUSSINESS,BUT FAILING TO PAY UP WILL I ASSURE DO THE OPPOSITE

what a dreadful company, i purchased a 4500k hotel in february and it has just be paid after nearly 9 months, do not use this dreadful company via topcashback, even tpc have not been helpful i am not happy at all

Appalling merchant. Cashback declined for no valid reason. Cancelled my booking with them and will NEVER use them again. Avoid this merchant at all costs as they seem to want to refuse cashback for no valid reason in my experience and opinion.

Finally, 9 months after the transaction, my cashback claim has been declined with no reason given. I am experienced user of this site and made the transaction in line with the T&Cs. Read the most recent reviews and you will see I am not the only one. This is one merchant to avoid.

Booked hotel in April. Raised a ticket when it didn't track. I have posted several messages, but the only replies are that TCB are still waiting to hear from the merchant. If you are counting on the cash back use another merchant such as Expedia who do actually pay out. It is now almost November and there has been no progress whatsoever.

I booked through hotelopia in September for a stay in November 2012 and I am still waiting for my cashback £69, i keep being told to wait another 4 weeks and check again but nothing. I keep getting back to them but so far no satisfactory outcome

Currently there is a discount code you can use to get 10% off, plus the further 9% cashback, but when I try to book I can't see where to enter the discount code!!

Will never use Hotelopia again as other reviews paid in full in advance this tracked at £0.00 then after 3 months went to payable at £0.00 then marked as declined and even though has been in missing cashback through topcash still nothing after 4 months still awaiting respnse from this merchant never had this from other sites on Topcash "Beware"

Well - this site took my card details then flagged up a meassage saying my reservation had been cancelled and ny card could not be refunded - contact customer services. I have no ref or booking number, no e-mail and will now have to phone a 10p per min 0871 number (or call direct in Mallorca) to try and sort this out. My card issuer has confirmed I've been charged and the call centre will not open until 9am tomorrow. Think I'll be giving this site a wide berth in future
