Contrary to recent posters & surprisingly it seems I received payable cashback from Homebase the other day. I wasn't expecting to receive anything at all so hopefully the remaining larger pay out comes through after all.

I have just received a claim response that says my cashback claim has been declined by Homebase with no specific reason given. This is my second purchase from Homebase via topcashback with the same result. In total £19.96 of cashback has been declined with no reason given. By all means purchase from Homebase if you need the item but do not factor in receiving cashback because it is likely to be declined in my experience.

Reading other peoples reviews I wonder why people are giving 5 stars!
I have not read one review that says cashback has been paid, everyone has had the cashback go to £0 on being made payable!
Why do topcashback keep this merchant? They are conning people into beliving they are going to get cashback then make up some excuse as to why it's been declined!
Avoid, avoid, avoid!!

HOW COME HOMEBASE GETS 99.8% WHEN THERE IS SO MANY THAT HAVE THIER CASHBACK DECLINED AS MINE WAS FOR NO VALID REASON. AVOID HOMEBASE.

Weirdly, after being denied on the basis of "does not meet Terms and Conditions" a cashback event has suddenly appeared in my account - so somebody, somewhere, has been giving me a load of flannel on my claim. Either it was denied or it wasn't denied, and if it was denied, why is it now Pending?
Of course I'm happy it's there, however since my claim arose in ther first place because the cashback got set back to Zero for no good reason, I'm not going to assume Homebase are going to honour it this time round either - we shall see what happens!

Really annoyed about this.....I wanted to buy a £300 dining table and chairs set which would have meant £12+ cashback through Topcashback so I clicked through and it said that the items (I checked a few sets) were not available for home delivery. When we went to the store to view the sets I remember is saying that they were available to "take away today" so I tried to see if they were in stock at my local store and then I could do a Reserve and Collect and still get my cashback but there is no way of doing this on dining sets as they don't have the Reserve and Collect button next to them so basically I have to contact the store via telephone to check the stock levels and then they can reserve the item for me whci means I will not get the cashback through TopCashback :-/

Tracked quickly, but after a few weeks went back to 0.00. have chased up and they now say declined as i cancelled or returned the item This was not the case. Think homebase just dont follow through!!

Still waiting for my cashback to become payable, Item ordered in November last year. The statistics say that Homebase last paid cashback for October of last year, so I dont hold much hope for anyone getting cashback now, let alone from late last year. Really not happy that TCB are still showing cashback for homebase.

A purchase of garden furniture and a barbeque made at the end of May under an enhanced cashback offer through topcashback.co.uk, which should have resulted in a cashback of £16.20, was not recognised and the claim rejected because Homebase could not trace the transaction. The goods were notified as out of stock and only delivered over eight weeks later. I was unable to provide a copy of the Homebase confirmation e-mail and delivery note to topcashback.co.uk to help them pursue the claim as topcashback.co.uk did not provide one to my request and they had already accepted the rejection by Homebase without any further recourse on the basis that cashback is not guaranteed. No stars for a very unsatisfactory experience.

Had trouble with a kitchen order from these in the past,eventually being compensated by their customer services. They are basically Argos with some extra DIY thrown in. I suppose it depends on what type of product you order from them as to what level of service you get. This particular order has tracked quickly and I got a good price and free delivery.

I really struck lucky on this purchase. I got a shower enclosure for half price plus 15% discount and 8% Top Cash Back - how amazing !! Also delivery charge @ £5.95 was also very good. The website was easy to navigate and lots of information. Thankyou !!

Ordered a lawnmower from them last Tuesday. Order stated that delivery would be within 5 days and that a signature would be required. By Friday I still hadn't heard anything regards a delivery date - despite supplying contact nos, email address etc on my order so I phoned Customer Service (no delivery contact information on order) and was told that someone would contact me within 48hrs(!) Got home Friday to find delivery had been attempted and that my package was with a neighbour. Customer Service follow up was an email on Monday morning advising that the package had been delivered to my neighbour and should I have any further problems to email Customer Services (the email I received was one of those 'please do not reply to this email' ones). Given that they can't advise a delivery date or provide direct contact information to follow up an order, I won't be using them again.
