I completed a valid single-fuel switch from Scottish gas to NPower through these con artists. Iniitially tracked at the correct £12.12, but once I signed the contract to complete the switch, they reduced it to 0 ("Non-qualifying"). AVOID!

It seems a lot of people have had the same experience - cashback tracked quickly, but them went down to zero. Will try to pursue manually, but I don't hold out much hope. Think this is a big con. Shame on Confused.com for being so duplicitous.

Dog turd service. Tracked OK but then after ages turned to payable zero and over 100 days so cannot claim. Appears that this is a very common experience. Suggest everyone just avoids confused.com as they are clearly a dishonourable bunch of deception artists...

Used them to transfer to British Gas. £24.24 appeared quickly and then sat there for 3 months before changing £0. Rubbish!

I applied to change my dual fuel to a cheaper company, through Confused, almost 2 months ago. Confused confirmed the change but since then nothing. The energy company say that Confused have not contacted them. I have been trying to speak to head office(the only non 0871 number available) for 3 hours. All I get is voice mail except on one occasion when I was being transfered I got cut off. I have had no reply to my email. Each month, on my old tarrif, I am paying on average an extra £20. Confused has cost me extra!

confused.com site kept informing me that the tariff that i have been on for the last 2 yrs didn't exist.... therefore as i couldn't even complete the first form, it wouldn't allow me to even browse any other tariffs!
Very time consuming and frustrating.

Don't bother!! tracks o.k.but then nothing happens.After 100 days cashback reverts to zero and its then too late to contact TCB.Not impressed.

The cashback shows whether you buy or not. They are never going to pay it, it just clutters the screen for ages. There doesn't seem any way to remove it. More of a sales gimic than a reality.

Did my check, wonderful... showed that my present rate was the best one for me... the cashback tracked straight away, superb... money was confirmed yeah!.. two months after payment time and the cashback goes down to nothing, hmmm!
Advice don't expect cashback from these guys they're just using it as a sales technique.

I applied to confused.com to change my dual fuel back on 9/10/11 and on that day signed to go with EDF which was the cheapest at the time. The order tracked quickly albeit £0. But I was not concerned as I was expecting £24.24 as and when my order was confirmed with EDF and the switch had been made which was not until 7/11/11. Still awaiting my cashback, only to be advised that its now over 100 days and will not be paid. VERY BAD service from confused, and a bit misleading from Topcashback.

Transaction tracked quickly at £22 but changed to zero when it became payable!! there must be something done about this, they shouldn't be able to reject their cashback offer after you've purchased via their comparison website!!! It's not fair to tempt you with decent cashback amounts and then refuse to pay up!! :-(
