	All went smoothly I purchased home insurance via Compare the Market and was very happy to receive my cashback approx 10 weeks later. I've had problems getting cashback when I've used other comparison sites on TCB, so relieved this transaction went to plan.

	Variable experience I have received my cash back for home insurance and am very pleased. However, I have used them on two occasions for car insurance. The cashback for both of these were declined. I have no real explanation as to why. On one occasion, I went straight to Compare the Market website and the other via Topcashback. I'm not sure what went wrong. The experience this time was good and I received the money within a reasonable time scale.

	Got lucky I have managed to get my cash back for home insurance, this isn't always the case with top cash back and using comparison site. It a hit and miss whether it works or not, guess I just got lucky this time. Didn't need to chase up this time round.

	Avoid Declined twice. Had to answer all sorts of queries off TCB who then challenged them again and they paid out. Full marks to TCB Conclusion? They decline and hope you will go away. They are correct I will go away from this imposter ( Compare the market Home Insurance ) and would advise others to never use their link again. Too much hard work!!!

	Denied cashback despite meeting all criteria As with so many others, I started a new quote and purchased immediately following all terms and conditions, only to be told that I haven’t met the terms and my claim is denied. Do not use.

	Nope - rethink doing this Just had to open a claim with TopCashBack because 2 months later my cashback was declined despite the fact I followed all the conditions and took our new insurance. No idea if I'll get the cashback now but it'll be another 1 -3 months apparently for my claim to be looked into and confirmed. Hassle no one needs.

	No Complaints I took out a home insurance policy on 13/4/25. Cashback was due in around 100 days and it became payable in early July, which is roughly as predicted. Competitive quote, too. Others seem to have been less fortunate judging by the reviews.

	Cashback claim rejected Obtained a new quote and followed all of the T&Cs still not to be given the cashback amount. Why are they on the site if the don't honour claims!

	Not paid mine out either,.went through topcash back and took out the policy Didn’t pay me either, went thru top cash back , took out the policy and they haven’t paid up …looks like I m not the only one

	No Cash back for the second year running Please do not bother attempting to get cash back from compare the market they just don't pay out this is the second year running they have declined. Use somebody else.

	Still waiting Followed all steps and told the £38 cashback would appear within a day and it didn’t. Put on ice in February when it was challenged and last week- declined. Absolutely disgusting. Still challenging this and awaiting an outcome.

	Poor Experience It's hard to get the cash refund from comparethemarket. I bought home insurance a year ago on comparethemarket but I couldn't get the refund until May 2025.

	Avoid it When i took out insurance, it said that the cashback should be shown within one day on my account. It didn't happen. Instead i waited a full two months for the so-called "ice period" to thaw. And the cashback was not the promised £40, it was just £38.

	Did not pay cashback I followed all the terms and conditions exactly (as other reviewers have said) but cashback was declined. I will not be using Compare The Market again!

	Paid cashback in under 3 months. Was £0 after purchase on 29 Jan and changed to payable of £38 on 7 April.
