Cashback exclusions and terms

Exclusions
  • If you apply an additional discount that reduces your overall purchase price, this may cause your cashback to be declined or reduced. e.g Voucher codes, student discount, staff discount.
  • If your purchase is not fully completed online.
  • If you have any cookie blockers active in your browser that prevent the transaction to be tracked correctly.
  • Editing or using a previously saved quote or product comparison from your Compare the Market account will not be tracked and you will not be eligible for Cashback.
  • If you, or the broadband provider, cancel the broadband contract before Cashback is deposited in your TopCashback account.
  • If you don't pay your monthly instalment in full or, if paying by Direct Debit your monthly payments are not kept up to date.
  • Cashback is eligible for customers who are located in the UK only.
  • Use of a promotional/voucher code not posted and approved by TopCashback.
Terms
  • Cashback is calculated for the item(s) price only, not including VAT, delivery or other fees.
  • A completed quote is not an Eligible Purchase and therefore is not eligible for Cashback, you will only be eligible for Cashback on a completed purchase of a policy.
  • Transactions will initially track at £0 and uplift upon validation
  • You will only be eligible for the Cashback if Compare the Market (the “Merchant”) is able to link your Product purchase to the TopCashback website. This means you must: 1. Log into your TopCashback account. 2. Click from TopCashback directly to the Merchant’s website ensuring you have selected the correct product category. 3. Generate a brand new search for broadband and make your purchase immediately (in the same session and without exiting your browser).

  • The Merchant reserves all rights to take action (including legal action) as is considered necessary in its sole discretion in order to prevent or redress any fraudulent or otherwise unlawful use of their website.
  • Cashback is not issued by the merchant. If you have any queries regarding Cashback or payments, please contact TopCashback Customer Support directly and not the merchant
  • Cashback rates are subject to change and may increase or decrease at any time
  • Cashback will be confirmed after your policy has been active for at least 90 days. Payment could take up to 130-180 days after validation.

  • You shall only be entitled to receive Cashback for the first two Products you take out through the Merchant’s website per year. This year will begin on the date you takeout the first Product following a comparison of the Product via the Merchant’s website.
  • This Merchant calculates Cashback excluding VAT, delivery and any other applicable charges. The Merchant reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Cashback offer at any time. The Merchant’s decision will be final.
What to do when
  • If your Cashback is not tracked, Compare the Market allow up to 45 days after the purchase date to submit a claim.
  • If your Cashback is rejected, Compare the Market allow up to 6 months after the purchase date to submit a claim.
