My cashback hasn't recorded at all so I've lodged a claim. Topcashback are always very good at chasing claims but reading the BG review comments I won't hold my breath! I haven't received the promised voucher either but then BG managed to put the Homecare Plan in the name of the executor of the deceased previous owner of my house so I'm not surprised. Still,the service engineer was really efficient so hooray for that.

Would not accept claim initially but paid up eventually. The cash back was one of the resons I went with British Gas so making me wait and chase this up was not acceptible.

The time to wait to get cash back is a total joke in fact don't even bother. I took out the cover in January and 9 months i'm still waiting for the cash back!! 9 MONTHS! that really is ridiculous, this should be made clear to everyone before they think about going with British Gas and any cash back promised.

BG boiler care taken out in January and still no cashback even though tracked straight away, have contact Topcashback just to be told not received money from BG. Just don't use this merchant you will not get your money you would expect more from a company like BG.

Extremely disappointed that even after 12 weeks, cashback has not been confirmed. Most other reputable companies have confirmed cashback except British Gas. I will have to think twice when the renewal comes up and also dissuade friends / colleagues from keeping away from this company.

have been waiting since Dec 2013 for £52.50 cashback, TCB have been informed but their hands are tied waiting for british gas to sort out. Did receive £20 high street vouchers but not M&S vouchers as stated. I fully expect this to be declined and if so then BG are getting custom under false pretences as I bet like me most people signed up at the good cashback offer.

Ordered homecare and cashback tracked quickly then after about 4 weeks was declined. Also the offer from BG regarding a £10 voucher has not as yet materialised although have had a text saying sorry its late will be there soon. Case raised for cashback but not impressed with BG so far.

The cash back scheme seems pretty rewarding, but once signed up do not expect British Gas to come out the next day if you have no central heating. We are a vulnerable couple, safeguarding its customers is something British Gas does not do, Ten days before they will come out. We are suffering temperatures below 14 degrees, which is not acceptable.
